Quadstrike was made to promote hasbro’s final line of burst beys rather than continue the story, so the reason you can’t really tell the story of quadstrike from the theme is because there really isn’t one. Theres still a final antagonist in like the last 5 episodes, but for most of quadstrike they just venture around battling old characters

I really liked it but maybe that’s because I don’t know shit about Ninjago

Love the Lego movie. One of the best things of 2014. There are some more things for Ninjago that you can watch. Before starting season 2 of dragons rising watch the elemental mechs. It’s a 3 part series on legos UA-cam channel. You need it to understand one of the things in season 2. There is also wu’s teas which is a 20 part series where the ninja work at wu’s tea shop. Finally there is Ninjago decoded which is set after season 7 but before season 8. It’s 10 episodes but it’s very good. Would definitely recommend 10/10. It shows the legacy of the show up to that point
