Because if you spray excess then the plants are severely damaged and you may sometime loose the orchard and sometimes loose one to two season of fruiting.

Solapur Lal is a new pomegranate variety that yields higher than Bagwa with bright red colour. It has field tolerance to bacterial blight and needs less sprays. It can be grown in any season and needs crop regulation to obtain good fruit size. It has good export and domestic market. The future of pomegranate expansion is in popularising Solapur Lal variety

Lowrence Narzary, You have not described how the plants are dying. I presume they are dying from the tip. Means the emerging leaf is rotting and dying. If this is the symptom then it is bud rot. Otherwise there may be root feeding insects like root grubs which are common in arecanut.
