That solo is clean sir! I'll try to make this video as a reference for me to learn the actual solo 😅
Nice job!!
I was a metal head back in the 1980s but now I want to learn how to play like this 😮🙌🏼..It’s so peaceful to my soul with out the help of 🍺🥦 thnx
Fantastic.
Great ! What kind of strings and gauge do you use ?
Looks simple but Why am i finding it difficult?
i rly thought i could learn this 😂
May I ask for the backing track for this? I’ve been looking for a backing track with a perfect transition into the outro solo after the first solo
Damn! Your taking it Home....
Haha thank you Rob!
Fantastic! My compliments. I would never have figured this out. The half steps are too quick to discern. Thank you. Now I can play a Lukather solo! O f yeah!
Thank you Dean !!
What string gauge are you using for this solo?
That is 0.10 but I must say I should have used 0.09 like Steve Lukather does as this gives a fatter vibrato:)
I actually thought they're 9s. That's some beautiful bends you did there.
Did you use any chorus or reverb at all? or is that just a sort of “Double tracked” effect using your boss delay? it sounds so good also, do you have a download link for the backing track?
Yes some chorus, stereo widener and delay as this is typically what Steve Lukather uses!
According to the transcript video, from what minute should I play?
Do you mean from which moment the solo starts in the original?
@@guitarinstitutenl8487 yep
@@guitarinstitutenl8487 yes

Bravo!
Thank you! 🙏
Finally been to learn how to play the main solo, After all those years. Thanks very much. Outro next....😊
Great to hear that the transcription was helpful! 🙏
Dang dude. You must have brought your hammer cuz you nailed it.
Thank you Mister! 🙏
I always ignored this song as far as the guitar is concerned but after watching you I learned it....Going to play it at my next family reunion using the original recording as back ground!!
That sounds awesome! I’m glad to hear that the guitar part made you look differently at the track, I had the same when I figured out the part.
Nice demo bro❤
awesome!
Thank you Lu!!
AMAZING SONG, AND YOU PLAY IT EXACTLY LIKE WES. THANK YOU, GOOD WORK!
Thank you 🙏 for your kind words !!
Great tone
Holy Crap--you can really play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks buddy !
Gonna learn this and play it with a pick jk
Record and post that! Curious to hear how that works out :-)
Wow!! Absolutely Awesome
Thank you Daniel !
Not as easy as it looks
Indeed….
That’s amazing! Thanks for tabs!!! Are you self taught??
Not really… I studied at the Guitar Institute in Londen (ICMP nowawadays)
In what rhythmic figure did you practice this?
That is 4/4

You nailed both solos. Spot on perfect. I know this like the back of my hand having learned it to gig back in 1986. Very few people get this solo right.
Thank you for your kind words mister !
Here’s some nifty fretwork on an improvised version. ua-cam.com/video/fxsim5l1XpY/v-deo.htmlsi=iCFBAuqy4BcqFfTA
Upon first watching this I grabbed my guitar thinking this will be easy to pick up but that was not the case. I struggled and struggled to nail it for longer than I care to admit. Once I got it finally I cracked out on it for a week. It's so much fun to play.
Great work 😃
What a masterpiece of a chord progression. Some of these chords sound so dissonant when played by themselves but make total sense when you put them together. Insane songwriting... its incredible how did he even come up with that?
A masterpiece indeed… Wes’ magic
The playing is so good and the tone so very bad
Ah just a quick bedroom recording
Nicely done! But I think Wes plays in bar 8 a Bb69#11.
The #11 is there but will check if the 7 should be a 6
Great job!
Thank you buddy!
Can u say or put up the notes while playing
Hi Ronald if you DM me on Instagram I can send you the score
WOW! Very good! Thanks Fabio (ITA)
Thank you Fabio!!
I could not locate the “tab”, any suggestions to find it?!?? Thanks it’s a great sounding lick! Would like to add to my arsenal. ✌🏻🔥 🎸 🔥
Thank you John! TAB is at the bottom of the screen. You can also DM on Instagram so I can send it.
MIC Tokai?
Exactly!
You getting hella value 😅
That solo is so fun to play . Good job bro . Very good phrasing .😊
Thank you buddy for your kind words! 😃
Is this really just the tube screamer and delay pedal through the Kraken? No modulation? Incredible tone btw.
Thank you buddy! It is. Awhile ago that I recorded it but I am pretty sure I added some kind of modulation in the mix to get closer to Lukather’s sound.
Robben Ford kicks ass. His first album along with his work with the Yellowjackets are absolute classics in my view
Agree!!
