Our house has this type of lock but we don't have the key. Can a locksmith make a key for this? Is this type of lock universal and easy to replace with something from home depot?

That body is way to far out to the middle of the door it should be closer to the edge otherwise the door wont open all the way

Did you ever hear of an air bag? Don’t waists your time with shims. Get an air bag. I’ve installed more of these hinges than anyone else where I work.

What does a the adjustment marked ‘P’ do?

At 6:50, the installer is using screws for a metal door and not wood screws. This closer will eventually be pulled out of the door. This door needs through bolts now because of this error.

if the screws got loose to the frame, how to remove the cover that covers the screws that hold the frame to the hinge? Is there a special too for that?
