Thompson Twins Watching both versions (subtle mashup)
This is a subtle mashup of both 7" and 12" versions of 80s song "Watching" by the Thompson Twins. I always preferred the production of the 12" track, but preferred the arrangement of the 7" track. This is why I attempted the best of both worlds here, with some very slight added atmospherics at the beginning and end of the tune to give it an extra theatrical feel. I did this without interfering too much with the original tracks.

End Of Tape

From back in the days of video tapes, when, after a movie there would be static, followed by the tape reaching it's end and being automatically rewound by the video player. It generally looked something like this (the tape in question was Star Trek 2 : Wrath of Khan.. I'm sure you'll appreciate this info).

For anyone wanting to use this clip for a project - just use it. I'd rather people left messages thanking me for this content and using it for their projects than asking if they can use it, then not even getting back to me with a thanks. Just use it and leave a thanks if you wish.
Permission to use for a vid plz I’ll credit

Fn love that guy! Legend
This might be skit but tell me you never loved going into the likes of Tandy, Dixons etc & played around with buttons just for the satisfaction of "Nice Action"
My marriage fell apart soon after watching this!
I used to do this. Of course, I was a kid.
To be fair, that is a very nice action
Does anybody think this man was funny?
The man looks boring and tedious, the character is hilarious!
Im underwhelmed 😂
I worked in a high end hifi store in the late 80s. Customers would walk around the store and press the eject button on the cassette players in a similar way that people kick the tyres of a car they’re considering buying.
I've still got my Tandys Sea Battles handheld game. Still works perfectly 30 years later 👌
The answer is Janet Jackson
"never had a cup o' beans man?" - brilliant. 😂
I have. Many times. Whilst watching Partridge. Foot note. Not for this clip.
There's a spoon In the bathroom but I've no cause to use it !
No, Alan, you're cock-piss-partridge.
god that show sucked
I'll stop you right there on two points. Point 1: You're wrong! And Point 2: Your comment is clearly clickbait...
15 years later you are still fuming
Little known fact: the rock band Poison were huge Partridge fans, and their hit song 'I Want Action' was inspired by this very scene.
Identical to the Tandy's in Cardiff way back when - around the corner from the railway station

I used to go to that Tandy often xx ahh the memories 😢, got my sega master system from that exact shop 😊
*_Nice action, very nice action_*
I loved Tandy's.
The free battery club with their diaries was a sweet deal. You bought the diary for a couple of quid then took it back each month where they'd stamp it for a free battery. I miss the component section and experimenter kits..
Just write, nice action.
Little slice of memory lane nostalgia right there 👍
I miss those days
I KNOW i ahvent seen a vcr like the one with such good action in a long time!
got my first ever erection in a Tandy... I was looking for a cheap reverb, she was a hefty yet extremely helpful female... who I later found out was a man! I've got high cheek bones so I just attract them like.... I dunno... badgers, anyway... I came away with a very nice "Realistic Erection Reverb" lovely stuff... nice sound
Hi-fi serious is a better store for audio-visual equipment.
The irony of life is John is real , and everything else is a load of bollocks , and it always has been .. only a few like Lydon actually said it .and still does ,
That's first class
This came up as a suggestion - "nice action" ! took me back to endless days in Lasky's , Tandy etc..
Bridge on the captain...uh...I mean captain on the bridge....
He's brilliant...but where is the interview he did on the McCanns.?????
Great cover version!

@kyfaydfsoab AYAFT! How would you know!?
This is an excellent cover of the Icehouse classic!
Tandy's head offices were also in Norwich coincendentally.
thought they were in Walsall?
The Tandy head office location debate raged on
@@jonnythomas4885 they were, The other guy is wrong. I worked for Tandy’s as a store manager for a number of years. Our manager conferences were always held up in Walsall area.
This is what I think of every time I waste time on overcomplicating projects that I enjoy.
Jim probably saw Sam, his parents, Carol, David, Miramee and their child, Bones maybe even Scotty...all his loved ones who crossed over before and after he was trapped in Nexus... Waiting for him and welcoming him with open arms to what comes after...
Well not Spock or Scotty since they were both still alive at this time.
@@dreamsprayanimation bones could have still been alive at this point also, remember he had a cameo in the pilot episode of next gen
Bones is life in ST TNG S1e1- Encounter at Farpoint- (45:24->46:57)- 137 years, according to fleet acts; Spock ST TNG S5e07-e08; Scotty ST TNG S6e04 :)@@dreamsprayanimation
