    Another prime example of why you shouldn't hunt from a swinging around a tree monkey harness. If only you'd been hunting in a lockon, the tree would have been at your back and deer most likely dead at your feet.

    My TAC/3D arrow is the RIP XV 350 spine with Bohning X3 vanes (3 fletch), standard 50 grain insert with 100 grn field tips. TAW = 346 grains. It's a rocket at 295 fps. Shooting a Mathews Lift 29.5 w/ 60# pull and 28.5" draw; Ultraview scope. My hunting arrow will be the RIP TKO 350 spine with Bohning X3 vanes, 75 grain outsert, and broadhead (yet to be decided).

      Most of our deer here act the same way!! Southern deer are by far the hardest to hunt in our opinion. For some reason the deer in that particular area let you get by with a lot more. They act more like midwestern deer. Nice to hear from other trad hunters. We are working on coming out with our own line of recurves keep an eye out!!

    I've had the Tethrd Phantom since 2020 and I really like it. The only thing I don't like is how much it rides up by backside. On m all-day sits as I alternate between standing and sitting positions, I keep having to pull the saddle down - which of course causes a lot of extra movement in the tree. Have you guys experienced that with the Phantom as well? And do you experience anything like that with the Cruzr? I imagine probably not since the panel expands and is able to reach dang near to the back of your thigh.

    • @gritarchery
      @gritarchery Рік тому

      That was our same experience with the Phantom. It is a great product but we were constantly having it ride upon us. The XC has been the perfect hybrid between a one and two panel saddle. We still have zero complaints with it
