e!amph Arc II - Amphibia animatic

HELLO FRIENDS! I'm pretty certain that a good amount of you subscribed to me aren't aware of the existence of a multichap Amphibia au fic I've been writing since January 2022, which I've nicknamed e!amphibia (or e!amph for short). it's become something of my passion project, hence... this animatic I went out of my way to make about it.
what's it about? well. it hinges on a butterfly/domino effect of what might have happened if Sasha had discovered Marcy's truth about sending them to Amphibia before the events of True Colors take place. it's gone in a direction that's very angsty, much more tense than canon... and it's been an absolute joy to write so far.
there are three plot arcs - as of right now, I'm two chapters into the second arc (Arc II). this animatic is a preview to the concepts that are on display in Arc II. I figured the audio would be too perfect not to use, and I wanted to build some suspense towards the events that will end up taking place.
if you're interested in reading, I've put the link to the fic in the comments below. I've also put a link to the fic's carrd, which mainly exists for organization purposes and because I like being dramatic.
if you don't plan on reading, I hope you enjoy regardless! the animatic may not make total sense, but the fic isn't so far removed from canon that it's totally incomprehensible.

I'm tripping ridiculous rn but that was so beautiful! You got the sad and tender scenes with Kyousuke and bounced right back to her angst, with Sayaka having fulfilled her side of the contract with Kyubey only for her to be left high and dry by the one whom she loves. BRAVO🤌🙏

Ives seen a lot of edits not pacing well and place footage not matching the momentum of the song. This was the opposite, its everything i wanted in any edits. The verse matching the video, the cuts maching the end of every verse. I hope you know you have something speical and extrodenary. I look forward to your future work.

this continues to be a deep source of inspiration, nostalgia, and love for me. i have seen this more times than there have been days since i first watched it. when my feelings become too big and overwhelming, i watch this. it lets me imagine my future and remember my past. and right now, in this present, i'm watching my favorite video. on my birthday, for the second year running, i watched all 23 hours of amphibia nonstop. at the end, i put this on and it gave color and depth to the finale of my special day that nothing else could. anyhoo, shout out to the gamers watching in 2024!!!!!!!!

Я просто хочу напомнить, что сюжетная арка саяки почти полностью списана с классической русалочки. Думаю так и задумывалось авторами.
