Michael Richard "Mike" Gabriel (born November 5, 1954) is an American animator and film director, best known for his work at Walt Disney Animation Studios and as co-director of the Disney animated films The Rescuers Down Under (1990) and Pocahontas (1995). Early life He was born in Long Beach, California, although he grew up in various small towns like Salina, Kansas while moving around due to his father's Air Force job. Career Gabriel was inspired with animation after watching Sleeping Beauty (1959) at the age of five. Soon after, he started drawing and practicing it for six hours every day to meet his goal as an Animation Director. It was in 1979 when he got his first chance to make his debut. Gabriel originally began his career as an assistant on The Fox and the Hound (1981). He later was assigned as a Disney animator on the animated short Fun with Mr. Future (1982). He was mentored under Eric Larson's training program, and went to work on The Black Cauldron (1985). He also served as an animator on The Great Mouse Detective (1986), Technological Threat and Oliver & Company (1988). Hendel Butoy joined Gabriel to direct The Rescuers Down Under, a sequel to the 1977 Disney animated film The Rescuers, while Eric Goldberg and Gabriel collaborated on Pocahontas. In 2004, Gabriel directed an animated short for Disney entitled Lorenzo, a hybrid of traditional and computer animation about a lazy cat who has a spell cast on his tail that forces it to tango with him. Accolades Lorenzo was nominated for the 2005 Academy Award for Best Animated Short. It was also included in the Animation Show of Shows in 2004. Personal life He was hired to re-design the Walt Disney cinematic logo which plays before every Walt Disney picture since 2006.

Hi Kim and team, been watching and catching up to older videos which have been very informative! Wish I discovered your team before moving in! Will definitely pass contacts to friends and family interested. As new residents, we are interested to get your team’s perspectives and expertise on the effect that the new Disney World developments will have on Celebration announced in the last D23? We assume given the heavy engineering and construction required that will lead to an influx of thousands of Disney employees and contractors to the region. What’s your take? Positive and negative developments as a result of this new construction. Any chance Disney will actually implement development plans in Celebration II area, north/west of 4/417 currently? Thanks!

How did Roseville get created? Seems like the smallest village and a bit different than the rest of the villages.

Thoughts or news on any new businesses or developments in Island Village? Also, is there any history to the names of each village/HOA, particularly Roseville and Artisan?

I visited two weeks ago. Love it. Friendly folds, great bike ride spot, huge selection, and really nice atmosphere. Going to make it a regular spot.

Nice I herd of a lot of things ( good and bad ) of this place. I want to see this place if I can stay there for a week or two I can see fir my self if it’s all the good things they say, and if I can really se the good then I can bee a seller of the place. Hope my faith is great so love to se if I can afford and able to see this possible home for me. Price, clean place. Easy acts to get around with wheel or on foot. And things to do for the ones who live there. Will make the deal.

I love the location! Being so close to Celebration K-8 School and downtown amenities makes this a perfect family home. The conservation area view is a bonus!

Winter Garden too expensive. Not enough rom to move around downtown. All the trees are gone

I first came to Hunter's Creek in 1987 when there was about 125 houses built. Hunter's Creek has just gotten better.

Charley's is great! Celebration Town Tavern is also a favorite. Enjoyed Thai Thani's other location. I'm sure this one is also really good. Looking forward to trying some of the others. Heard great things about Columbia Restaurant but haven't gotten there yet...

Love your video ! And love celebration as well as winter garden . I’m seeeing way more price cuts everyday in the same radius u follow I follow as welll. Here in Boston homes aren’t moving and there all getting reduced. People who bought during covid 2nd or third homes around here are dumping them to lock in profits and I mean people who bought 10-20 homes plus major realty groups that went the rental way. I’m seeing Naples take a huge dive even next to tin city great area. What are your thoughts 💭

I miss living here in Hunter Creek. I raise my family here lots of great memories A hidden gem in Orlando. Can’t beat the location the A plus Schools and amenities.

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

Solivita HOA/Club fees update: $226 HOA is for neighborhoods with less lawn to maintain, $325 for the rest of the homes. That's all part of the HOA fee including secured gates, common area maintenance and irrigation. Club fees (part of the total monthly amount) was reduced by $100 last year. And HOA fees now include internet 😊
