One I put through college and one I put through a wall great advice I love Lou
Stupidest shit ever...Wow ....Pocket Kings. Let's bet
YOUR MAD AR YOUR DAD NOT ME
Check This Shit Out
This movie is gold 😂
I’ve had that Jones Beach experience
This aged poorly
"Your papa loves you, hey- he's looking out for you. Look out for him." Don't know why those words hit me like a sledgehammer every time I hear them. I love that dawning realization that Jason has when he hears those words. He knows them to be true. How many of us really have someone looking out for us? Keep those people close- they are few and far between.
RIP BURT YOUNG
Rest in peace, pleasure and paradise Burt. 🙏🏾❤️😎
RIP Lou
Vale Burt Young.
Rip burt young
The character of sunys dad seems like he’d have quite a temper
I don’t understand why Grama wanted Mike to lose after continuing to play. If Mike lost it all back, he wouldn’t be able to pay Grama what he owed. And Grama would have to kill him.
Such an awesome film and cast!
It was a different time back then, when people actually mattered and cared for others.
Yeah, the world has changed
HELL YES!! Always has me in tears how excited he said it 😂😂
Jason liked and respected Lou. Him saying to Jason "I've got 2 boys, I put one through college and the other through a war", it's understandable because he apparently realized that a college degree was the best option for one of his sons but military training and experience was a better option for his other, he looked out for his sons and knew which was a better long-term life option for each of them. Lou pushed each of his sons to their destinations, even if they initially may've tried to fight it. But as he stated here, he apparently succeeded in pushing each son to their destinations, which was how he was both nice and tough. And it appeared that Jason here understood and respected Lou for that
@earth7869I also thought that first time watching the movie, then I listened more carefully and found out it was even more serious then a wall, a war...
@earth7869 I always thought he said "war". I think that makes more sense than "wall" because "wall" doesn't make him sound as nice and tough, more like jerkass and tough and it doesn't sound as good of a way to steer his son into the direction of success. Getting military experience can. Unless throwing him through a wall was the only way to knock some sense into him to better his life. I don't know, I guess the "wall" one works too in that case.
@@tommytheshimigami Yeah, "war" is what I always thought. See my above reply to @earth7869. Also, by the looks of Lou's age then in 1986, his son would've probably have been 18 or 19 during Vietnam so him saying "war" would've made sense for that reason as well
@@alvexok5523 I don't see him being an abusive father and hurting his own kid by putting them through a wall. More as somone who wanted what was best for their kids, and in a way college makes you soft, and war makes you tough. Remember he is nice and he is tough. (:
@@alvexok5523 my dad put me through a wall, metaphorically, meaning the secound I was 18, I was kicked out of the house.
<3
Blink man blink

Anyone know where someone could partake in this movie without having to pay to watch

Wedding Singer little kid runs up "hey linda Your a B*tch" Happy Gilmore punches Bob Barker "looks like the price is wrong B*tch" Water Boy "water boy is killing them thats the best tackler i seen since Joe Montana, Joe Montana was a quaterback you idiot" lmaooooo

Good evening. I'm Hugh Downs. And I'm Barbara Walters, and this is "20/20".
I would think the house would never play a fish who was in debt. What is the benefit. If they take him they lose even more. They were going to kill or kick his ass anyway
Cookies and No Whole Milk?

Protect this clip at all cost!
One of best comedic scenes ever. However please for love of god hide this from 2022! So it doesn’t get cancelled
Shooter should be in the hall of fame
I always wonder what KJB had on this first hand... AK im assuming i dont think he was bluffing with the Oreos he was using them to figure out if his card was gonna come or not
0:22.......that look.....hahahahahaha!!
You gotta love how an out of work hairdresser with general knowledge on cars made a federal "expert" look like a blundering, brainless moron. Gets me every time 😂😂
Happy great Birthday Anthony Michael Hall
"Knish how you doing?" ......His answer? "The same" .... I've always loved that answer. I guess the same means still a hustler, still a grinder.
Malkovich great range, what an actor. He plays a Russian Mob guy perfectly! By the way P*tin needs to play Russian Roulette with his band of thieves and killers.
I think I watched this movie 1000 times and ruined the VHS always rewinding to this part. Broke my heart in ✌️. Broke more than your heart
Does nothing for me. I’d hate to lose and hate winning that I didn’t bet more.
I’ve played lots of cards, poker pitch. It all boils down to, where’s that one card that makes or breaks your hand. Is it out or still in the deck? It’s all in how you play that one card.
...i stick it in you...
Love it It puts me in a good mood
