hi! I'm Cat! :33 pronouns are they/them and xey/xem
Canary in the Coal Mine || Life Series Jimmy Animated Fansong
so. I wrote this song about a week before Limited Life started, so it's primarily third life, last life, and double life references. I've been working on the video since then so it was really fortunate timing for me that he happened to die (first)(again) right as I was almost done. less fortunate for jimmy though.
its based on various fandom ideas of canary jimmy, the idea that he is running from, or fighting against his role as the canary. that he both becomes the canary in his moment of death, and is doomed to become it. (also a little bit of eldritch/listener Jimmy thrown in for spice)
I don't know how to play any instruments, but inspiration will not be denied, so I learnt how to use midi for this and I'm really proud of how it turned out.

thank you so much!
This is very cool and underrated
Epic
This is so good! I love the striking images. And the "go not gentle" nod is the perfect mix of encouraging and mournful.
Thank you so much! I was very proud of that
This is for the record really good! Question though is it supposed to put you on edge because I am getting chilling children's lullaby vibes
yeah! it is absolutely supposed to be kinda haunting! like. the tragic beauty of the fight against the inevitable, but also the tragic beauty in its arrival.
This is so cool! You did such a great job with it! I love the imagery you used in one bit with the Sword of Damocles!
this is so good
