Riding With Jimmy NJMP Tbolt Riders Club 8/19/24
First day riding without ABS. Went out after lunch, saw Jimmy pulling onto the track coming into T1 and slowed down so we could have a little fun. Definitely had a little battle. Looking forward to 12 days from now getting out there and having the real battle with him.;

12:00 session with riders club, managed to stick with an r1 for a little while, missed my shift and fell into neutral coming into 1 and decided to leave it in neutral for 1 and click it back in on my way to t2, bike had other plans, as I tipped it into 1 the bike clicked back into gear and broke the rear loose almost causing a highside. Very to ride in after that one.

Had a little hiccup early in the session, saw the MotoAmerica stock 1000's fly past me on the straight and said to myself "I can hang", Spoiler alert, I could not hang. Kayla Yaakov also showed me whos boss around 6 with one other I didn't recognize. Fastest session of the weekend for me, found 3 1:29's in a row through a little traffic as well. Chasing Dylan Riders Club Tbolt 8/4/24

Went out behind Dylan (Dylan S 367 linked his pov at bottom) for a few laps before the rain looked like it would show up. Got past him twice into 1 but to be fair his rear was shredded beyond belief so it was easy to get the drive out of 12. Talked to one of the coaches, Mike Shlansky, he told me I will benefit from running most of the track in 3rd instead of 2nd and boy was he right. The smoother power delivery instilled a whole different kind of confidence in me, as you can tell by the times I put down. First time getting back to 29s after July 4th and even dropped a 128.98 on my 7th lap

First Video on the new Hero 11, give it a like if you enjoy the quality. This session I spent chasing down Melvin after he "noticed I was behind him and went". Lot of fun, sent a little bit of a block pass down the inside into 1 which he enjoyed thoroughly

Great session, worked on my line. Borrowed one of my friends hero 11 camera instead of my 4, vid looks great. Had a crash in t10 in the first session of the day, minor lowside just slightly bent a footpeg and rode the rest of the day. Glad I did because the session after this I went out behind a few coaches and ran my first 1:29’s battling Evan on his r6, Probably would’ve run my first 29 this ...

Last session of the day for me, just not enough energy to keep going. Went out right behind an R1 and battled him for all but 2 laps of the session. Started to get a little frustrated and lost focus on my line and missed a shift at 2 but all in all I enjoyed feeling like I was racing a bigger bike. FAST Laps on an R6 RACE NJMP Riders Club 6/13/24

Pretty clear and fast session, believe I was running consistent high 31's with a couple of slower laps mixed in. One little hiccup getting on the gas too early at 2. Was pushing lean angle barriers all day, I know I can drag elbow, just working on getting it down in more corners as my body position isn't 100% consistent for every corner quite yet.

First day with the new suspension was successful, made a world of difference. Still coming to terms with the way it handles now, excited to play with the settings on Wednesday back at Tbolt and see what it can do.

Signal to Ricky was not angry it was a let’s go, had a couple little battles this session, enjoyed it thoroughly and set a new PB only to be topped on Monday. Decided to cut out in lap for 4k, editing software only exports 1080p for free -_-

Second session working with Coach Ribiero on his Yamaha R1. Was working on entry to 3a, 4, 7, and 9, turning later so I can get back on the gas before apex. He knows what he's talking about because I dropped .81 seconds from my PB set the day before, now its a 1:31.02 set in this session. Also dragged an elbow around 10 for the first time in this session. Super pumped with the entire day.

Pretty clear session, saw an R7 off in the distance and thought “I can get this guy” he held up mahdi long enough for me to get a follow lap and learn a thing or two, I caught him a lap later, admittedly a little close but I was already on his left and was carrying more speed, felt like I had one option. Only missing out on the in lap, plus a little extra, decided it was worth it for 4k instead...

Followed coach Peter out for this session, ended up getting dropped as Peter is 2 seconds faster than me not to mention him getting around some traffic in the straight from 1-2 that I couldn't safely pass until after 5.

how did you save ? what did the bike tell you when you almost lost traction in the rear ? just for my education
@@RideLikeAChamp honestly it happened so quick I don’t know what I did, I turned the bars all the way left to try to straighten the bike before it flicked me off, I think most of it was luck
Also watching the video back I believe I pulled the clutch as I started to slide, Definitely helped to bring the rear back up to speed before it was too late

Either its the camera angle or your fork height is mismatched. Right side looks to be set to the first ring, while the left side looks flush
@@IAmGroundwar it’s my lap timer mount, it’s a separate ring that goes around the fork holding a back plate, I don’t blame you, even in person people go “wait a second”

judging by the video being 4k and looking choppy I assume you're using a gopro hero 3/4? Id recomend using 1080p Super at 60 fps. Image quality is still good but for pov and motorsports in general its much more favorable to have fps over quality

There’s nothing like it, never felt the powerband on a 1000, but I have no need. Bike took quite a bit of work in order to get it race ready but I enjoy doing that kinda stuff. Budget wise the GYTR is probably more value oriented for a built track bike in hindsight
