Dr. Otto weirded me out as a kid initially. Specially his first appearance in the Ernest Film Festival...that little transformation sequence at the end of "Coming Soon" was nightmare fuel for my 6 year old mind upon first viewing in 1988.😬☠️ But I'm glad though I was finally able to watch this hidden gem as I got older and still have it recorded on VHS when it aired back to back one December night in '95 on USA's Up All Night of all places along with Ernest Goes To Camp.

Watching this takes me back to being a kid in the early-90s, sitting in my Uncle Bob's living room in Tennessee, watching this movie on VHS. It's an interesting trip into the acting range of the great Jim Varney.

Good job on the remaster. Would like to see you guys make a behind the scenes documentary on the process. Jim Varney's performance in the film is always 110 % he never slacked. the story makes little sense but its still a abstract surreal guilty pleasure.
