I'm Anil Gurung, a former Nepal International Footballer, thrilled to have you join me on this journey through the world of football.
Career Highlights
From my humble beginnings at Sahara Club in Pokhara to representing Nepal internationally, football has defined my life. Notable achievements include leading in scoring for multiple seasons in the Martyrs Memorial ‘A’ Division League, earning awards like a Yamaha motorcycle and a Hyundai EON car. With over 50 appearances for Nepal, I scored 10 goals and made history as the first Nepalese player to score in a World Cup qualifying match on home soil. As captain, I led Nepal to victory in the inaugural AFC Solidarity Cup in 2016.

This event also highlights the untapped potential of high-altitude football grounds and training centers in Manang, pushing players' limits while promoting tourism development in the region.
