heres a fun story i made w my ocs that fits these songs: I stare up at the clouds, on a grassy hill. Dandelions surround me as I lay on the ground besides Chris, one of my closest friends. It's been a while since I got a moment like this. Preparing and training for the war, battling monsters, going on quests, keeping up with my schoolwork, chores, etc, has been exhausting. I had just finished a quest succesfully, and I'm pretty happy. It was one of our hardest ones yet, so going birdwatching and cloudwatching is relaxing. Lately, Ive picked up a few hobbies that keeps me and my mind calm. I sighed, my fingers starting to trace circles around one of Chris's old scars on his hand, my other arm on my stomach as he talks about some clouds. "Ooh, that one is shaped like a star," he said, pointing up to the ombre sky. "What about that one? Kinda looks like a duck," I respond. "Yeah, like you," he chuckles. "Hey, I don't look like that!" "You speak like one." "Wow, Chrissy. You're so mean. I'm not speaking to you!" I yelled, turning my side at him. "Awh, come on. I'll miss hearing your duck voice!" I didn't reply and instead furrowed my eyebrows even more. "Okayyyyy then. How about I bring you to the city, hm? I'll bring you to D'Angelo's if you want.." His slender finger pointing at me. D'Angelo's is one of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. Even though I couldn't live at Earth, I could visit it. D'Angelo's had all my favorite comfort food, like gelato. Since I've been so burnt out and busy, I couldn't get any. So when I heard that, excitement started bubbling up in my stomach. "Really?!" I yelled, jumping up with excitement. "I missed that smile of yours. And, yeah, really. Just us two, maybe. We could go at night, and maybe before that, we could go to see Legally Blonde again at the movie theatres." He said, blush rising up to his cheeks as his hand reached the back of his head. "Legally Blonde? Forget what I said, I love you!" I said, encasing him a hug. And that means a lot coming from me. "But, wait.. that kind of sounds like a.." I muttered, trailing off with some confusion. "A date?" "Yeah...are you..." "Maybe..?" My cheeks immediately turned red. A..date? And why were my cheeks turning red? I never liked him...right? To be fair, I was always affectionate with him, like holding his hands platonically, wearing his clothes, and sometimes even falling asleep on his shoulder or lap when I was really tired. Maybe I did like him. "You know what, yeah, let's do it!" "Really? I thought I messed it up and and you'd leave and you'd never speak to me again and you'd tell everyone which would get them to think I'm a total loser- mmmh!" "Shut up, you ball of sunshine and stupidity," I told him, encasing his mouth with my hand with a slight smile on my face.
