Description This is England The Clash PUNK Rock England Bernard Rhodes Joe Strummer Clash culture Politics debate, Fashion plus lyrics: I hear a gang fight on a human factory farm, Are they howling out or doing somebody harm? On a catwalk jungle some-body grabbed my arm. Her voice spoke so cold it matched the weapon in her palm. This is England, This knife of Sheffield steel. This is England, T...

STARMER YOU JUMPED UP PRICK LISTEN TO THIS
Excellent song. Graphics and images appear to miss the point
What a fucking surprise, 100's of years of colonialism has consequences
Half the world would still be without the wheel and living in huts if not for the British/Europeans. Stop pretending otherwise
How far we've come
a poetic song... with punk guitars ... genius
Grazie Strummer
Though this song sang about the woes of England,it stood out as the best song on the album..in fact it was the closest song to an actual Clash song on the record...after I bought Cut The Crap..it made me wish that the original members would somehow reunite,it wasn't to be unfortunately...BAD was good(No pun intended),Joe Strummer and the Mesculeros were good,..but the original Clash was great
BAD was awful. Clash Mk2 were new, exciting, original, interesting, stylish
If you don't love England fuck off
what an utter knobhead
Classic english punk rock.
Still got me summer pass for 78....clash!
We need them all back now!!!!
Such a great song (Y)
Very underrated song
Great album in my opinion.
never noticed the chat at the beginning until now. see you all on strumer square
Love this record.. still treasure it!
Now fascist Truss
Joe was such a gracious man, so humble and yet so talented.
I love the clash...april in portugal
the clash...i think...in regress in england! Desculpem a minha lingua é a a Portuguesa.
Thanks for posting this video. Really good. Long Live Joe
Diversity ruined England
did it fuck
This song really reflects england in the 80s.
And now. Sadly.
This is England, ok. But band which playin' this song is not The Clash.
ua-cam.com/video/AXxBDF3aYEk/v-deo.html is a MUCH better production version. Really bad job on setting the pitch. Sounds all chipmunky not like Clash live.
Damn I love "London boys"
SIMPLY LOVE THIS WORK(s)
One of t hose very rare happing in the fecking greatest music life, a few on those most brilliant happening was when the following bands came to gather Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doors, The Beetle, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Small Faces, Them, Rory Gallagher band, Phil Lynott-Thin Lizzy, Doctor Feelgood, Ian Dury and his Blockheads. The Sex Pistols, The Class, The Gallagher Brothers/ Oases. Willy- Mink DeVille and others of their most brilliant quality
I am goin to CC Italian in December!
The drumming is amazing in this song
Alan Greenspun you're having a laugh aren't you? You must have been in charge of the shocking drum machine, I think the great Topper Headon would disagree with your ridiculous comment
@@deerhunter2218 that’s the great thing with music, what one finds offensive another finds it good. Cheers
Drumming? It’s a poorly programmed drum machine. Great song though.
This is England track........visuals are so wonderfully put together & at points gave me real chills / shivers down my spine....thank yo so much for sharing* now to continue listening to the rest of the compilation :-) x
A Wonderful selection* Thank you so much for sharing * Best of wishes from Scotland :-)
We love England and the world is our oyster. Peace and love
england is a loving muslim country; lol,and you dont see what is happening
Fortunately our windows survived this wondrous tune. Enough said!
We like english music...
Joe, singing about working class brutality was hardly a member himself: public school boy with all the benefits a father in the foreign service had to offer. Apparently he was also a bit of sh*t, screwing some of his bandmates GFs, etc. Still, its a great song and many more to go with it - though i don't necessarily agree with most of john/joe's sentiments!
ZZZZZ
I love this song.
Fuck off mate unless you knew the guy knock off calling him.a shit.He gave enough to the world
joe rocks, you could never even push one up a hill
was it not Vince White who screwed Bernie's Gf? Also what benefits were there to being left alone in a private school at about 9 years old and seeing your parents twice a year? these schools produce disturbed individuals who later become Tories so Joe did ok to come out still believing in naive things like the common man and a better future for all people
Das war damals meine prsönliche Punkhymne !
Didnt understand it then or now, works though eh?
el mejor grupo de punk!!
after the Ramones.
I love England almost as much as America
Having to consider the priority for your love between 2 countries is a privilege English people would never consider, let alone excercise all the best
when music blew you away!!!! love this song....brilliant ;)
This song always makes me miss wonderful England. I really need to go back and visit again, it's been so long.
its not bloody wonderful - its awful.

Ruined by the Labour Party.
Imagine thinking this was a patriotic song...........
It's like the British Born in the USA.
Only a leftwing moron would believe it isn't a patriotic song.
@ Kerry katona - the clash were hard left ? It’s singing about all the things wrong with England, if you think that’s patriotic then great
@@saxglend9439 have you heard the lyrics? You Muppet

England should be free
classic New York City taxis. This is England man..
Joe would have plenty to say about the state of affairs today it's a shit storm out there
I find it interesting how Mick Jones tells a different story of how the band formed -- that he'd seen Joe Strummer sing in the 101er's and asked him to form a band without Bernie's involvement. Either way, the record company really screwed The Clash.
