Yes but i think the bass sound from the quinto is not the same like a bass guitar because its doesn't have the scale and the thickness of the strings, remember the Bajo Sexto/quinto also have octaves on the low strings, one group called los rojos from mexico they modified a Bajo Sexto putting bass strings on it, and also 2 pickups one for quinto sound and other for bass sound mixed toguether, and conected to 2 amplifiers, one for acoustic sound and the other for Bass sounds, its difficult to play in that way but its sound like a full harmony section. ua-cam.com/video/pEfHsTY8mj0/v-deo.htmlsi=Wja4lknKZXx77DBX

@@Junior1385 But actually the way that instrument is played is like a regular Bajo Sexto & it's punchy. The Bajo Sexto & Bajo Quinto have a 25.5 inch scale like a Normal Guitar plus the Strings are actually thinner than a Regular Bass Guitar

En persona se nota mucha la diferencia, ese bajo quinto esta muy viejo y suena sordo, no se que halla pasado para que casi no de un sonido acustico pero me ha tocado oir bajo quintos con mejor calidad de sonido.

Pues pienso que estaban muy usadas las cuerdas, yo note en la edicion que aun que afinaba los instrumentos al ratito de haberlos probado se desafinaban.

Pues tambien depende de la calidad de los bajo quintos, segun lo que yo he investigado, los mejores Bajo Quintos los hacen los lauderos, o los de Macias. Y pues las guitarras siempre estan mas preparadas, hay unas de buena calidad a un bajo precio, y pues para mi las guitarras son mas versatiles musicalmente.
