Hi. What determines the type of seed that grows from each individual sunflower? I only plant grey stripe, but some grow to be back oil, purple, etc.? Thanks very much!
The grey striped ones are the best for eating! But I really love the Little Becka, Moulan Rouge, and Strawberry blonde too. I'm not sure how the seeds differ, but you can get so many cool fun varieties!
Did u notice they arent facing the sun?
Now that's the true honor system. Just love that.

Yes. It's very short. And only one way at a time. Tiny little bridge over a brook.
Reminds me of 'The Bridges of Maddison County' . Beautiful film. Beautiful romantic bridge.

I love it, now get yourself some guinea fowl to clean up the ticks.
That would be great! Guinea fowl are so cool!
@@karolineliley2904 Of all my sister's barnyard fowl, the Guinea were the most pleasant sounding.
We had a neighbor who had some for a few years! They were so fun to see just wandering around.
That's awesome
That's beautiful. Check out Moab, UT, in winter. Park Ave., 3 Gossips.
10 yrs ago, we lived in the mountains and got snowed in. Couldn't get out of our driveway, 3 ft. of snow and in the woods, no one to clear our driveway. After 2 weeks, still snowed in and animals were getting hungry due to snow not melting. I knew crows love corn so I baked a bunch of cornbread and put it out for them. They ate all of it within about an hour. I was out on the front porch where I fed all the birds and the crows had no problem with me there, they kept eating. Soon as they finished eating, a pair of woodpeckers showed up. They came every day 2 times a day always at same time. Birds all got along until starlings had shown up a few days before. They were very rude and fought with the other birds and took over the feeders. The male woodpecker hopped on wood railing and drove his beak in very forcefully several times then glared at the starlings, as if to say "That's what you'll get if you continue to bully the rest of us." Starlings got the message and left. Male woodpecker then stood aside and motioned for his wife to go ahead and eat, which she did. Because I'm an animal communicator (they use telepathy so if you put a picture in your mind, they will see it and understand) I told the crows "I fed you, so in return can you keep these rude starlings away?" I asked them because the crows were very large. Immediately they chased the few remaining starlings away entirely. Starlings never came back after that, crows sent the message. This is a true story, may sound unbelievable but it all happened the way I said. Ever since then I"ve loved crows. Native Americans say they are the messengers. They sure got their message across!
Ya gotta luv em... up to their eyeballs in ice water and singing their little hearts out.
