how to build: steel / ruby end

I just want to build lion king/stich deck which is steel and yellow I think.

can I challenge a character in a location or do I have to challenge the location and banish it to get to the character in that location?

Wouldn't one Hook card only return one "Fire the cannons" card one time, since he only goes in to play once in a game? So it would go from 4 uses of the card to 5 no? Am I misunderstanding something?

I've tried to make dwarf swarm work for a while but ultimately I think the only good dwarves are really sleepy, doc, and bashful. I've kept them and snowwjite unexpected houseguest but got rid of the rest of the dwarves

What about the dwarves with pawpsicle as a draw engine and cards that sinergize well with items like pawpsicle and sleepy's flute?

I have a question. Can a deck only contain cards with 2 colors? Or even 4?

I'm so excited for the new synergies accessible to Pawpsicle with the new set 3 cards. I'm going to maintain my Ruby/Sapphire midrange build for the first month while we gather playsets of cards, but very interested in just the possible upgrades alone for it. New 3-ink card to help recover Pawpsicle, more options to play Pawpsicle for free via item cost reduction effects, tons of new 2-ink cards to adjust your stat-ratio, lore, and inkable status, a very playable location choice, a second- more interesting one that requires a bit more effort to include. New removal options and effects to draw/ramp with. If I can get my hands on playsets, I've thought about Reckless Pawpsicle; Run the 2-ink Cogsworth so your Reckless characters can effectively "quest" while you draw into removal/ramp/draw-engine and get 5-ink Aurora or Sardine Can on board for Ward. So you can effectively run over bodyguards, locations, and high lore/strong characters easily, or "quest" out with Cogsworth on deck and piece-meal your removal once you establish board. You've got 3/1 Felicia, 4/2 Gaston, 4/5 Tuk Tuk, Maui, Te Ka... There's a lot of wiggle room to play with for ink-curve. Just need a way to deal with evasion that doesn't feel bad to play, but those options do exist in Ruby and Sapphire. I want to try Emerald/Sapphire Pawpsicle Genie, use tons of "bounce" effects and now we have multiple shift-targets for Genie to play actions for free. Should be able to stuff in Artful Rogue Mickey because of Detective for ramp- So the goal would be to get 6-cost Genie on board to bounce the opponents characters, then use Bounce, and Bibbidi to replay him again and again. With Artful Rogue out, now you can effectively bounce their board, and "quest-lock" anything that doesn't get bounced. Safely quest your guys, and you have access to solid removal. Yes, they're conditional in Emerald, and ramp the opponent in Sapphire- But it's better than none, for sure. If you can fit in a small discard engine with the bounce effects I think you'd have something pretty competent. There's quite a lot of synergy going on when you add in Morph, so you could effectively have 12 copies of both Genie and Mickey to shift onto; And you actually benefit from using Bounce & Bibbidi because you can recover the shift-target to play again or ink. Slap in Montanui maybe to assist your early game ramp/lore generation, and draw aggro away from your shift-targets; Or with enough ramp the other Sapphire location would let Pawpsicle draw engine combo off a lot harder. Could even just plop in the 1-ink Emerald location to get most of the effect of Montanui depending upon your early ink curve choices. Maybe even the 4-ink Emerald location is worth it. Ward and Evasion would go along way for a bounce/"quest-lock" deck. Be Prepared won't destroy your location(s), so it hurts a lot less especially when you'll get 2 lore before Main Phase, and now whatever character you play after will likely have a chance at safety if you have 2 extra ink. I'm sure the deck would operate better with completely different cards but the core idea sounds strong and will adapt over time with the evolving meta of course. Terrified of what Merlin/Mim decks are gonna look like with all the lore gain they have that's difficult or impossible to interact with. They're really gonna make you race, I'm sure. If the top-tier decks don't shift around, I'm going out of my way to buy the singles for a special Emerald/Amethyst build that I hope to pilot as an antithesis of the meta. Anyway, it's crazy to think that THIS card becomes the entire building block of a multi-colored archetype. I mean, 95% of the time you're just using it as a way to pay 1 ink to draw a card. One, simple, consistent deck-thinner spawned an entire archetype... Because it's an item; which gives it synergy. That synergy begets a combo, a combo produces a structure. A structure secures wins.

What would happen if a character with resist 2 challenges a character.

Pulled all of them except Mufasa, Alice and Belle in my Floodborn box. I got 2 beast tragic hero, one regular and one foil/holographic! Also got one regular Cinderella ball room sensation and an enchanted Cinderella in the same box!

Definitely depends where you live also, the beast is the most expensive but that Belle is like $9 here while the lady ter, is about $20.

Rush and Evasive are definitely my favs. getting to attack right on spawn can get you ahead pretty fast, and being safe from non-evasive characters is a nice way to keep lore-generators on the board

I'm hoping for more 'Treasure Planet' cards. It's basically my favorite disney theme. I'm also eager to see more from this channel. The tone is professional, yet relaxed-- which is a pretty different pace from a lot of TCG review channels
