Tire Grooving Speedway Tire groover

Today we are in my buddies shop testing out the speedway tire groover on some wore out boggers. Got these tires on a trade deal and figured it would be a good set to cut up. RCF TEST COURSE

rock-creek-fab.com We started build a test course in the back yard. Finally got to run on it earlier this week. Unfortunately the Toyota broke another birfield in the front axle. The new the ramp we call the bunker hill is a small fun challenge. Hopefully will be adding on to the course soon.

rock-creek-fab.com Memorial Day weekend up at wild bill in Montana. RCF had a good weekend exploring the park. Lots of good Obstacles that are great for lite built to modified vehicles. Miles of trails to keep good few days of exploring with out going over obstacles twice.
Toyota 4 7 1 Gear Reduction Kit

The easy to install kit gives you the reduction you need for the trail. Most kits come with some new bears and almost all gaskets to go through your Toyota T case.
Cabin Fever Roller Coaster in the Silver Valley (2023)

rock-creek-fab.com The Cabin Fever run of 2023 put on by the North Idaho Trail Blazers. There was a bunch of Jeeps and a few Toyotas that headed up to the Roller Coaster Trail. Everybody had a good time with beautiful weather. The trail was mostly all snow covered still. Nobody broke anything major and all round just a fun ride out in the Silver Valley.
Air filter cover FA 2.0 Subaru WRX

Made an air filter cover for a Fa 2.0 Subaru. With some help from the owner, we designed the first prototype. The design was to help protect the Cold Air intake from getting water on it. We will be doing performance testing during wet conditions all this week.

Cut out in between the lugs. Even if you expose some cords the tires will be fine. I had bought that same groover 15 years ago for 69 bucks and burned it out on my first set of tractor tires. Had to heat the end with the torch towards the end . Could have got a 220 v one for 200$ back then. Wish i had but that was more money back then. Today i spent 200 at the grocery store and i only went there for bologna.
You guys will probably have more success in the summer on that terrain. Looks like some nice trails being developed but all that mud rock due to wet conditions does not look like it's letting you do what you would like to do. When it's dry I'm sure it will be a much more rewarding crawl. Happy wheeling.
Where were you wheeling in Idaho I live in pinehurst and I have a 1st gen 4Runner 4linked front and rear on tons and 43s I would like to go with you guys sometime.
I like rock crawling but I'll stick to my cfmoto to much work and money dumped into p.o.s. vehicles I like to turn the key and go and not have to repair my machine after every ride with parts equally expensive as sxs parts
Yeah sxs are fun no doubt, Building rigs is just a passion some share

What spring rates are on the front coilovers on those Toyotas? Top&bottom springs?
They are 150s over 200s on a 14 in FOA Coilover and running Big Shocks brand 16in on 100s over 150s
