Crazy, just hearing it is exact sound I remember, had same sled/yrs... Immediate memories, thank you!!My day had GPS(same as 5500) that was just a little faster but pretty close, both ran around 80 radar, not bad back in the day.

Awesome looking machine !!! I remember back in the day when my neighbour had one - he said it was great on the hard packed snow but was horrible in the smallest amounts of powder plus it was broke down all the time .

I've always wondered about that 340. I had a '77 T'NT 440 fan. This 340 is air cooled but it has dual carbs, dual exhaust, rotary valve, and weighs 50 pounds less. So was it faster despite giving up 100 CCs and fan cooling? It certainly looks better, my T'NT was pretty homely.

binskiman, the 78 RV look with the black tunnel and yellow windshield is a cool take on a 7500...I like it. I know some of your other sleds, you have come up with some beautiful sleds with great variations on the original. Well done!

I'll always like the older sleds style better than the new ones not all of them but this one can't be denied...such class and sleek style...after 2005 I lost interest love the old 90s mxz,s Mach 1 and z style...just a simple suspension upgrade and the thir sexy and better riding ..new sleds don't even look like snowmobiles ..
