I came to UCC in Autumn 2010, heard the Gospel and Christ saved me in early 2012. I was discipled and trained for ministry at ATI. I recognise some of the people in the video, they are faithful brethren in Christ. May the Lord bless you in all that you do in His name.

Excellent discussion! I believe what we are seeing expressed in today's worldview has been happening since time began. Rebellion! That shows itself in two core ways. That there is no God, so I can be god, but if there is, he's oppressive and tyrannical, and therefore I have to stand against Him and be my own god, living life the way I see fit. He is holding us captive in a prison to do his bidding, so, let's just blame Him for the hard times we go through rather than admit that I am doing wrong, after all, I deserve a good life! That me, me, me, belief is being pushed heavily in the younger generations. In fact, the 'lovers of self' mindset has taken over the minds of a large portion of the younger generations. The evidence is everywhere. And it's incredibly sad to see it manifest in all its guises through people of all ages, not just the young. God's creation is perfection and was created in His image, perfect. His ways are perfect, his life for us was created to be perfect. It simply worked perfectly! As soon as that covenant with Him was broken, by our own 'will' through sin and by our own divergence from His perfectness, the world that he created for us became a harsh place. He is a just God, loving, and longsuffering. His will for us is to come home to Him, to know Him in all His ways, which are good. To not want that life with Him is a rebellious, ignorant and stubborn existence perpetually sinning rather than submitting to his love and accepting the gift that His Son the Lord Jesus Christ is offering us. He died for us when we were awful sinners. He defeated death and is alive. He will return! If you are not saved, then you have a choice to make today. Please don't be ignorant thinking you know better than the God who created ALL things. He is our saviour! He is our redemption for the things that we have done against Him. Accept the gift of salvation, or you will regret it for all eternity. Eternity is a LONG time!

A joy listening to my dear friend and brother. We became close friends when we studied together at LTS in London, some 22/23 years ago. We pray for his safety and protection on the front lines of war.
