Ik this is old, but as a Khajiit player I was highly disappointed when I used Khajiit for my first play through that I started 3 years ago. Also I just played a hour of it because Khajiit was so horrible in this game. Still a badass race tho in elder scrolls to give to us cat owners. 😂

I would actually slide Imperial up into the last slot of B. High personality stats and mercantile are underrated. If we are talking about playtime, the amount of gold I can amass after a start with The Lady and speechcrafting all merchants and quest trainers gets me online with a very powerful character it no time.

I mean this works great if your on console as there are no camands you can imput. But you could just add item if your on PC😊.

As some previous comments have mentioned, this no longer works in the GOTY edition because you can no longer pickpocket someone during combat. However if you aren't opposed to some potion exploit use, you can get your agility or luck extremely high to succeed in the normally impossible pickpocket anyways. You might also be able to get enough of a stat boost from a Fortify Attribute spell if you have that available to you, but I haven't tested that. IIRC pickpocketing success is based on value and weight, and daedric armor has a lot of both. Stealth buffs didn't seem to work for me (except for the gauntlets, the cheapest part of the set) but a bunch of stacked potions of fortify agility did the trick. If he keeps attacking you even after you use calm humanoid, his disposition most likely fell to zero. You can bribe him, use high speach to get him to like you, or chameleon so he can't target you again after you calm him.

Or just you know, use a frenzy spell on the guard.

Apparently you can’t pick pocket people who are in combat in the goty addition. You can do it on earlier versions but it got patched at some point. Just wish I knew that before I spent all that time setting this up

you can get all the set with bloodmoon installed except 1 pauldron cant remember which side... but of course you would be deep into the story to get it...its a bummer that they didnt atleast add another full set.

All you have to do is just taunt them until they become hostile. The murder will thus become legal cause they became hostile first.

the sandbox that morrowind gives to you is so sweet. with no prior knowledge of the game at all, it will kick your teeth in for your first little bit if you're not going to just look up how to play the game. but the amount of different ways you can approach the quests is just so sweet. I've beat the game so many times in so many ways. and the quests are just so entertaining. The Nerevarine knows all

My main disagreement is that I'd swap argonian for wood elf. Argonians have 100% resist to poison, which is solid but niche late game agility. The males are also slightly heavier than average, that also helps nudge them up the list slightly. Lore wise they make for a descent slave uprising character.

The best race is clearly Redguard. Adrenaline Rush is a once a day godmode button. Best Mage is Breton with Atronach. Best Stealth is Bosmer with Lover. "Strongest finish" is a weird statement considering that any well built level 20 crushes the game. "Torture yourself for 30 hours so you can have the perfect build." Useless. Speed stat between the races is unnoticeable. The game is best played in 1st person so character models are pointless and even if you play in 3rd person, half the helmets cover your face and the rest of the gear has the same looks.

Drain Attribute is resisted by Resist Magicka. An Orc (25%) with Curiass of the Savior's Hide and Ring of Phynaster is immune to the Drain Agility portion of Berserk. This makes it a straight up +100 attack for 60 seconds.

using desintegrate armor,calm ,knock him down with drain endurance+agility and punch him then steal the armor, you must be the champion of hermaeus mora to have such knowledge

I just clicked on this to see if there were any useless abilities to avoid, like the Khajit night vision in Oblivion, which is literally just a crappy spell you cast, identical to lower tier ones you buy later and infinitely worse than enchantments. (Horrifically misleading/disappointing to discover as a kid) And it seems you went over all of those and answered all my questions. Much appreciated.
