I think you did this video before the big patch. with the patch I think that he isn't top 10 bosses but peak, because the attacks are more clear, the crossslash is dodgeble in every position. now the fight is completly fair and peak, before I liked him but less than now

good list, I would place Bayle in the top 10 tier because he is my favourite boss of all time. I did him no hit at rl1 with 5 blessings and he was the funniest thing ever. I did this after the patches so I know that the only attack without a punish window is when he shoots fire balls flying. the fire breath hits you because it has a direction, so you have to look at the movements of the head. the camera isn't a big problem since you don't have to go under him and you can still dodge the attacks by the sound. Midir is my second favourite dragon but he isn't even in my top 20 for some fight reasons. Placidusax is a good boss but for me he is the most boring boss in elden ring with the ancestor spirit

Messmer needs a second health bar for phase 2. Also more bs snake attacks and I want some of them to be command grabs that insta-kill a la his phase 1 grab. Favorite boss in Elden Ring but held back by an underwhelming P2.

I generally agree with all of this! Glad to see a Scadutree Avatar enjoyer, feels like a slightly overlooked part of the dlc, but I really enjoy the presentation and overall experience of the fight.

Midra overrated i love when he cancels his 2nd phase nuke into the instant madness proc laser 😭😭

the radanh part was a full skill issue from your part, what do you mean the cross slash was undodgeable, it was completely able to dodge, it was hard? Yes, but its the last boss of a dlc from a fromsoftware game, it would be hard, EVERY atack in this game is dodgeable, the only one that cant be dodged is the nihil from mohg.

Top 5 For Me 1. Current Radahn (Most fun boss in the DLC for me. Amazing rhythm and OST.) 2. Bayle (Best dragon boss of all-time) 3. Messmer (Most well-designed boss; just not the most fun) 4. Rellana (Most complex moveset. For me, it's just a cracked version of Midra.) 5. Midra (Most well-designed "easy" boss of all time only below Maria. Lots of jumpable attacks and amazing combat expression. Can be very fun to fight when mastered.)

Glad I met a fellow Metyr non-enjoyer. I like the fight visually it’s a great spectacle but man I fought her for the first time yesterday using my dark moon greatsword and absolutely hated it. I could tank multiple attacks, and did decent damage when I could hit. But a lot of her attacks were just difficult for me to avoid. Especially that sweeping laser beam. The singular one or multiple ones are ok, but that sweeping one got me every time then dont even get me started on that microcatacylsm. First time I was able to avoid damage by running between the beam and the pulse, but every other time I seemed to just get obliterated by the thing. Oh well, I guess im also just not a massive fan on fighting giant enemies. Pretty much anything Godfrey size or smaller is much more enjoyable for me.

Midra and Messmer are top 5 souls bosses for me

W list. I'd personally swap Bayle with Midra and also put post-patch Radahn in amazing, but outside of that, my list is pretty much the same. Though I will say, Dancing lion is criminally underrated. I understand the camera issues with him but I've just gotten used to removing lock on whenever a boss has a camera problem, which is why I enjoyed him a lot more than most people. He just gets better every time I fight him and the OST and visuals are top notch

You have the same top 5 as me just in a completely different order, mines 1. Radahn now 2. Bayle 3. Messmer 4. Midra 5. Rellana Also these are all extremely close to one another to the point where the order can change depending on how I feel. I think Rellana and Messmer are the best mechanically gameplay wise, but the overall aesthetic, lore, ost, and climactic feeling of Radahns fight just take it up a notch above those two, on top of also being a great fight. Similarly I think Midra is the weakest mechanically of those 5 despite still being very good mechanically, but he has the best cutscene in the whole game imo and the way is awesome music syncs up with his elegant swings just makes it so memorable overall

It's so upbeat and festive, with little to no sad undertones. best OST in my opinion. 7th - Needle Knight Leda and her Allies: the most cathartic and emotional fight in all of Elden Ring. 8th - Putrescent Knight: great gameplay, character design, and music (lore, buildup, characterization is lacking) 9th - Romina: exact same thoughts as Putrescent Knight, but it's a bit lower due to its terrible performance on the light PS4 10th - Promised Consort Radahn - the major problem with this boss is that a lot of the sole solutions to dodging him are only rolling and running. I legit cannot find any jumpable and crouchable attacks. I knew this fight was going to be back when I finally discovered that I could jump the stomp. Visuals and music are peak though 11th - The Death Knights - pretty good dungeon bosses. I disagree that they're better than the Crucible Knights, but that's just my opinion MID 12th - Gaius: his dodgeable attacks arent that deep and long (he does like 1 to 3 attacks until he's open which is kinda lame), and his one undodgeable one is obviously BS (I know it's dodgeable but it is so unnecessarily hard to pull off) 13th - Scadutree Avatar: kinda same complaint I have with Gauis and Radahn. Attack strings/combos aren't that long and there's a lack of jumpable and crouchable attacks. Also, this fight lasts unnecessarily long (like every flower enemy in Elden Ring). I feel as though the sad tone butchers the concept of the boss. I hate the sad tone. This should've been a fun and upbeat boss like the Lion Dancer. It's a sunflower giant! That sounds like a lot of fun, not sadness! >:( 14th - Metyr: I like the lore and creature design. That's it. Spawns adds, does 1-3 attacks until open, has unnecessarily hard-to-avoid attacks. 15th - Hippo: why wasn't this an open world boss like in the trailer (would've looked better, have more space, and have less camera issues,)? These should've been the repeat boss you get Physic Tears from instead of the boring Furnace Golems.
