Dunno if that was hitbox or what but to me the crumpled up rear end was causing a bit of an optical illusion. It was hard to gauge just how close you were.

Not sure what happened to the car there. It feels like sometimes you have speed and sometimes you don’t at the plate tracks (admittedly I’ve never figured out setup for those tracks, it’s always either too tight or way too loose). But man…….. first wreck was incidental but that second one…… first Penske now Hendrick. Just hoping that the 36 don’t get punched in the nose lol. He’s got time to right that part of his game though.

Alright Pikes Peak in Colorado. Never been there for real though in my home pride. But totally love this, the problem however is high altitude. Mile above sea level makes it tough on engines. Just like Bandimere in Drag Racing. But this is a track that Wally Dallenbach would be proud of racing on since he hails in Basalt, CO. A nice clean caution free race as Jeff Gordon sets the race record at 133.555 MPH and has retaken the points lead. But I hope to see Nazareth, and Memphis next soon. Got to love the long run pace in NR2003. When it gets dialed in after like 30 laps and you set sail it can be so much fun. Overall a nice run, I would ask if a short pit on lap 70 would’ve gotten some extra spots but I don’t think it would’ve made up the whole chasm that Gordon decided to pop out. Still another solid run and 2 podiums in a row.

But man, Jimmy Spencer got careless when he plowed into broken down Mike Skinner when he didn't react fast enough to move over and took out three others with them. Always move out of the damn way. Jimmy Spencer walks away without a scratch but only had his bell rung, Jeff Green only suffered a broken pelvis, but he will continue to race. Red is a respectable rookie driver he just could not hold on much longer or slow down fast enough despite how tough the track was. But do not despise this rookie driver. And there is also stark warning to Ryan Newman. If he retaliates, he will face a one race suspension. So, all of you drivers must run your race and Red will run his race." But Rusty Wallace chose to disobey of what I said. So Rusty is fined $10,000 for that un-sportsmanlike move. And the crew chief Bill Wilburn will be fined $80,000 for sanctioning the hit along with a 10-race suspension.

Is it possible to bring back the win amount that you used to have? Like when a driver won it would show the amount of all time wins they had but instead it followed this career. I really liked that and it would be cool to compare how they do in this series to real life. Either way I’m really enjoying your series

Hopefully the field and Penske got that out of their system. Judging by the pace it seemed like the perfect race for them to do it. I think New Hampshire’s next so we have that to look forward to.
