I really enjoyed this episode. Pun not intended. It was great to see Ncuti bouncing around again as the Doctor. I loved seeing him be mean, but this time, it was with a purpose. Moffat was always good at writing a mean Doctor. I’m going to say it again, but I’m getting sick of the Doctor crying. He’s allowed to feel his emotions, but the fact he’s cried in every single episode has really, really, really cheapened his crying, being effective to the audience for me. I think Anita was more interesting and impactful than Joy was. The episode is basically titled after her, and yet she disappears for a third of the episode. Also, shouldn't it be "Bethlehem 0000" or "Bethlehem 0001 B.C." and not "Bethlehem 0001"?

I think you're probably the first person I've seen to have an issue with time jump, probably because it was very well known at least in fan circles, mainly it's just been a whole lot of praise for the casting, and I'm sure as you've found as you're into/finished with season 2, they really haven't changed as much as you perceive, and the time passed wasn't exactly significant. Also if it hasn't been said, Aegon's younger actor (The window masturbator) in this episode is David Tennant's son (Edit: as you say next episode, you do know lol)

Hey, can you maybe please react to Heartstopper? It’s such a good and wholesome show! It’s based on Alice Oseman’s webcomic and graphic novels, which are just amazing. I love how Alice Oseman, who also wrote the show, has been so involved in the adaptation. She makes sure the people in charge of the show don’t try to change it or turn it into something else, so it stays true to the source material. It perfectly captures the heartfelt emotions and storytelling from the comics! Also Joe Locke, who plays Billy Kaplan/Wiccan in Agatha all along is one of the main characters in this show. Heartstopper is actually Joe’s first role, and he’s absolutely amazing in it! He also really looks like the character from the comic and the people in charge of Heartstopper did an incredible job with casting. The actors in the show look exactly like the characters in the comics. Also, happy new year and a late merry Christmas! 😊

When I lived in Toronto, I used to walk past that building (MING AUTO衛明汽車) all the time, so I instantly recognised it. Your memory of Fallout is impressive if you've only played the first like, hour of four (if you're speeding through). Great game, but mods make bethesda games and fallout 4 has always crashed like a sloshed driver when I mod it.

My issue with Ruby's story is that if they're gonna put such emphasis on Ruby's bio mom and pay it off as just some person, is, and I'm fine with some Doctor Who classic putting significance on the small human things, while they don't treat it as a replacement, they really go for "real mum". Carla is Ruby's real mum, if Louise wants to be in her life, great, but they're strangers. I genuinely believe in the christmas special where Ruby shows up and answers the phone and goes "Hey mum" they meant Louise, they just didn't think about it. I hope they prove me wrong in series 15 but I feel like if it isn't significant to the story going forward, they should have just had Louise deny her.

After the reveal of what's his face (I genuinely can not remember his name, Dog God of Death, oh Sutekh), you should remember, the mystery character is almost never a character you know, until it is, but you do it every episode lol.

I think this was a good Doctor Who episode (and watching it again here gives me more of an appreciation of it), nothing special, but good, BUT my problem with it is that it's a series opener on a particularly integral season trying to draw people into the show off Disney +, and it makes it look like a kids show. There's been rumors of cancelation or whatever, cause Disney loves to cancel stuff, and I feel like leading with Space Babies was a massive mistake because it probably turned a lot of people away. Also I LOVE the Rani tease cause literally every female character introduced with a mystery and the fandom goes "IS IT THE RANI?" and Russell knows that.

Other reactors feeling differently is why I've watched probably, idk a couple dozen of your videos (All of the good place, misfits (Edit: MISFITS MENTION IN THIS VIDEO), and now doctor who) since I saw your christmas special from this year (like within the past four days) and while I like react videos, I don't watch them generally, because the internet creates this critic culture, someone on reddit described it as like "Rotten Tomatoes Era" where everyone who can make a comment wants to prove how smart they are but not just enjoying things. You're definitely a touch more critical than me but in general, you're positive and it seems like you WANT to enjoy things, and that's what I love to see. Plus you're pretty based (probably the first time I've used that word unironically).

I liked (not loved) 13's era but Akinola didn't hold a melted candle to Gold, BUT the theme that always played with the cybermen was sooo good. And I hope so bad we get Dhawan's master back, he would be great as a long running master. I'd say I'd like another two master special with Dhawan and Missy but I don't really want to remove Missy's growth, and the master is never gonna trust themselves again lol. Unless Dhawan is BEFORE, which would be cool.

I always loved Flux but I didn't care for the ending just like, poofing Swarm and Azure, but honestly, on this second kinda-watch in your reaction, great season.
