Diezel and Friends Featuring Darrel Krentz

This was recorded in December. It’s been my goal after editing it to break it into parts, have an official intro, and recaps at the start of episodes two and three. That hasn’t happened yet. With Diezel and friends at The King of the Hammers I wanted to go ahead and get this out there while everyone is waiting for The Every Man Challenge to start, even if it’s not polished to my liking. This is...

Diezel Comedy Hour

This footage had been lost. It was recently found. You’re gonna wish it had stayed lost. Here is Diezel by himself tonight trying out some of his comedy ideas. Stick around though. He does say something funny. Let us know in the comments when you hear it.

This past weekend we took a little trip to the local national forest to have some fun in the woods. This Jeep has gone from a 2 door on 35s to a 2 door 40s. Still a lot more to do but this thing is awesome. Give us a call at the shop if you want to take your Jeep / off road vehicle to the next level! #stackedoffroad #rockkrawler #rigid #spod #jeep #nitto #dirtylife #adamsdriveshafts Instagram @...

This was our second race in the Ultra4 racing community. We had a great start and the Jeep was performing very well. We ended up with 2 flat tires but thanks to Dirty Life wheels we were able to make it back to the pit for a fresh set of wheels and tires. The Rock Krawler Suspension performed very well and did not disappoint. Huge thanks to all of our sponsors! Check out our instagram page: @te...

Certainly the funniest of them all. The story told to Diezel and the look on his face at the end is the best. Leave comments below what he looks like to you. Constipated is already submitted.

Check it out...Diezel was right. The song playing limited the first attempt at this update. The part that was cut out in the first attempt was D-Money commenting that the music needed to be shut down unless there might be issues. Quick trial for a title scene. I popped and surprised Diezel for a Friday update. T here have been many changes at the shop. Stay tuned for more information. Be sure t...

I popped and surprised Diezel for a Friday update. T here have been many changes at the shop. Stay tuned for more information. Be sure to check into the recent Ultra 4 race in Oklahoma. Diezel is definitely not worried about life handing him lemons to make lemonade, he prefers Bourbon, so he's good.

JEEP Tone ring machining your hub yourself

Came up with a great way to install your tone rings when doing an axle swap on your Jeep....
I know this video is pretty old, but I am having such a hard time finding the right size washer for a Dana 35 pinion yoke
it'll do 75 down the highway in limp mode...just tachs around 5 grand. Hey, gotta get to Point B!
That was a brilliant realization. After hearing how many are killed and injured from exploding airbags I'm looking for solutions to remove them. Pulling the fuse is not enough, they can explode under many other conditions... shooting shards of metal into your head and forcing you to inhale sodium azide gas, which alone can cause death or serious injury/chemical pneumonia... I found many cases where the exploding airbag caused more injury/deaths than the accident. So I diligently considered that risk/reward debate... How does one rid their vehicle of these contraptions and navigate the "legal" clusterf-ckery?
I'm trying to fix my brother 3.7 v6 tj and it's having the same limp mode problem but it will shift and then just lose power also shifts very hard have enough trans fluid but maby too much? Just looking for some pointers
Incorrect grear ratio. P0731 p0732 means your screwd and time to sell
removing youre sway bar ? Will that ruin the cvc axel ?????
I wish that I would have watched this video while I was out in Brevard earlier this year with my LJ. I have replaced the vale body(non OEM) once before and I think that I need a new one again. What brand do you recommend?
👍
Got a 03i just bought a 03 tj 42rle i have drive 1 and 2 but will not go in N R are P....got a Neutral safety switch code and check shifter signal.... The shifter will move up to part reverse and neutral, but it's very hard have to force it but dose not chang out of drive and will not crank in less i jump the starter and cant remove the key Any advice?
Jscan can turn all that crap off...
Where do I go in JScan settings ? Thanks
@@ChrisiscarsJScan told me they do not
Talking about tranny and then pulling it out of your ass and I don’t know if I can watch this video!
What if it doesn't want to go into reverse
Alot of people mistake flex with USEABLE articulation. An antirock type sway bar is a MUST up front. The rear has debates but if you're driving the jeep on the street or at any speed other than 10+mph use a damn sway bar in the rear. Either get an antirock type sway bar or just longer links but dont just take it off. They are designed to work TOGETHER..
That’s an awesome trick!! Do you think it would work on camshaft sensors?
Really impressive, proof that there are only two limits for anything, creativity and $$ ♥
P0870 😂 gonna have to give it a try
I could be wrong but I’m not sure I agree with the conclusion in the video or the comments about bump stops. I think removing the rear bar under incline condition causes the average lift in the rear to decrease because you don’t have the less compressed spring helping the loaded side. As the suspension is a system, you’d want to compensate spring rate and travel when removing anti sway. The limiting factor should be increased bank of the body and rollover.
The "block" your referring to I'm sure is the range sensor and temp sensor is in it as well. Correct me if I'm wrong. I've got a customer that removed their valve body prior to having it towed to me so who knows what they may have done.
Just came across this and great way to describe it. I have read somewhere that some folks remove the front sway bar and only keep the rear and achieve more flex. Would you know if that’s true?
You must have a good gun.I marked my pinion bolt and took a picture before unscrewing it. Iv rebuilt my differential and now i need just 1 full spin to tighten to how was before. Need to find a less expensive route to tighten that bolt
Removing front sway bars and leaving back ones on just might be the best option overall.
Thank you Captain Obvious.
Whats new?
Tells us how the trailer is great for setting up bump stops which he obviously did not do😅
Yea so your video really didnt show anyone $hit...what was the point? If you would measure pinion depth or measure the original depth to the new pinion measurements marked on the gear, you can do this with a new gear, new bearing, new seal and new crush washer from the beginnig and NOT have to take it back apart...This is why ASE and 'real' dealer training is important. Not sure what the point of this was and what you think you discovered.
is this a VLP transmission?
Will the 25mm rear spacer and 20mm front spacer damage the wheels, suspension and bushing in the long run?
Should have just bought a rock bouncer.
❤
Hey thanks man appreciate that valuable info. I’m running a Jeep Gladiator with 3.5 lift on 35’s. I’ve done a few big trails in Uwharrie and going down to the Gulches of Indian Mound next week and wanted to disconnect my front sway bar for the first time. And was wanting to know if disconnecting the rear sway bar would benefit. Guess I won’t be doing that.
Where r u located
Cool video. I have a 2004 TJ sport 42RLE. I’m getting a P0740 Torq Conv circuit error. The Jeep has has rats chewing stuff and I wanted to test the TCC lockout wiring continuity but I can’t fine specifically which electrical connection on the outside of the trans it is. Also which wire / pin to test and where it connects to the TCM. Do you have any idea?
Update??
@ I fixed it. The 42RLE doesn’t have a direct TCC solenoid. The P0740 code is a mechanical failure code. I replaced the torque converter and it runs perfect now. However, you also want to check the transmission pump to make sure you are getting the correct pressures in the different gears. A faulty pump can cause lockout issues.
@@patriotfox7192 I got the code recently p0740 replaced the spring accumulator, was broke in three pieces, transmission selenoid And the transducer selenoid. I don’t feel the kick back while coming to a stop , was doing it sporadically. I run my 01 wj 4.0 on Over drive OD and the P0740 code won’t came back. But tomorrow I will take it to a shop . I think is electrical issue, but could be the Torque converter . I a running it on D Will perform like a new transmission, no problems but will show a check engine light sporadically. Thanks for replying.
@@Amarillobymorning777 yeah. The issue I had was I had no lockout and OD. I was running like 2500 at 50 mph. Now I’m like 65 at 1900 or 2000. Prior to that it would kick into limp mode out of no where and drop in to 2nd gear. I think that fried the converter. I fixed that issue by adjusting the gear shift cable. It was stretched and confusing the transmission, not fully seating into P/N/D. I think only 2/1 worked solid. I probably should get a new cable and linkage but so far all is well.
@ 🇺🇸🎉🙏
Physically It will help if u go by steps how to do it,thank u very much.
😎👍
I’m running hub centric 1.1/2 “ wheel adapters on my yj to run 18” jk wheels… 2 years no problem!!
Only reverse works now wut did I do wrong
Yo dude are those two acumulators the same I managed to mix the two up. Please let me know thanks for the video wish your guys were in Washington
Same
This shows that leaving your rear connected forces the front to make up for that lack of rear articulation. When the rear gets disconnected, the articulation is more evenly shared between both front and rear axles.
I was having an epic battle with a GM 8.5 and was about to start going nuclear before seeing this. Was able to get everything set up with a battery powered impact after pulling the nut and washer off and lubing them up.
Sway link!
Sorry my man. I agree you went further on a ramp. However I have ripped the actually bolt out of the upper bolt mount with rear connected. I have a diesel gladiator. So there are benefits.
Is there any big differences in a 42re 99-04
Embarrassing, that dude needs to set his rear bumps, it matters as far as his "test" is concerned and made the "results" mean nothing. I'd wager with a properly set bump stop it would score higher than w sway bar, he never even lifted a tire on that 2nd attempt because his shits set up wrong and was running tires into inner fenders.
Is this a problematic part that would cause a wrangler to drop from 5th to 1st while towing uphill and not allowing normal upshift? I have a relative on holiday from the east coast towing a 900lb utility trailer and is having that issue.
Would a p0700 code be related to this ?
This is exactly how I set mine up, except I did it with the seal installed and the new nut. I also verified rolling torque with my dial torque wrench. I guess I don't understand why you set preloaded with a used nut and no seal? I was taught that once preloaded is set, don't touch it. I "uncrush" and re-crush the old sleeve for setup, and crush the new sleve for final assembly. ...again stopping when the new sleeve is properly set and never moving it again. Regardless, the impact gun method works great 👍. Excellent vid.
Thanks for the video! I will be doing this but not a fan of the lines just dangling down like that especially that close to the coil springs. I found this other video that resolves that issue with some relocation brackets. Will be installing mine in a few days. ua-cam.com/video/xvvMlzeZ05o/v-deo.html
Okay the Jeep goes in the driver thing works cuz in the park no problem you put a reverse doesn't do nothing same thing
Awesome!!! When life gives you lemons, make some lemonade!
Diesel!!!!!
Are you in Charlotte North Carolina? I have people there and I am a mechanic but I moved from my family that still stays there if you need any business I could send them to you since UA-camrs are usually trustworthy when they post here about business. I just had to have a computer myself for my 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 52 L engine I just rebuilt the transmission a 500. Anyway good luck with your business and be safe. Thanks
