How did they hold up?

Hello, I came across your video as I recently used my RockSeed S2 model to measure some rooms in a house I am moving into to figure out what furniture to bring with me, and which bedroom option is the largest. At the end of this I may have a correction for what my RockSeed S2 states about the measurement. // What I ended up doing, as I wanted to limit my time while measuring, is use my phone's voice-memo recorder and state which wall or window I was measuring and what my Rockseed stated. This way I got my measurements recorded and later, back home I could draw up the plans as I listen to each room's voice memo. I set a directional standard such as front wall, left wall, door corner... by designating where it would be when looking at the house from the driveway. I called that "Driveway Orientation" or "D. O." I can't speak yet to how step two will work; writing up/drawing on grid paper all the dims including windows, closets and power outlets so I could configure the rooms with furniture. I did not add the 6 inches you mentioned for the length of the device. I confirmed that my device is labeled as "50m" which is 164.04 ft (via www.unitconverters.net/length/meters-to-feet.htm) so I think we have the same model. I bought mine sometime in early 2024. The distance shown does include the length of the device by default (via my manual, and verified with a tape measure). You do not need to add 6 inches. Though, if you are measuring for materials needed for an area such as tiles, carpet, window privacy or decorative application, paint. Yes, when ordering materials you may want to order extra depending on what it is. For the house I'm currently in we remodeled the kitchen and the floor used a certain tile cutting method. The contractor mentioned 15-20% "over" what the square footage required. I need to set up a privacy film for several windows so I measured the actual glass surface dims and when I buy the application, I will make sure I have some extra square inches. Your drape be hung higher almost to ceiling. I also think your rod should be 1”3/4” , the one you have looks too small for such large panels. The drapes look like good quality.
