Wish they could open them up and make them go. Doesn't look like I remember them at all. We called them parade laps when I was a kid in the 60's. No surprise, they're not wearing helmets or firesuits. Nothing like the days gone by.

When NASCAR was real

Bobby Isaac's Dodge Daytona was simply the Best looking car to ever grace a Nascar track. I was lucky enough to witness it once the fall National 500 in Charlotte. Bobby had the race won then blew with 11 laps to go. Bobby Isaac # 71 Dodge was my favorite driver, I still have the custom slot car I made of the # 71 Dodge Daytona.
