I'm really just trying to get home safely with 30lbs of groceries and on these runs, people on the streets jogging for fun usually allow the person using the sidewalk for utility. I forgive his stubbornness but he's gonna run into the wrong mfer one day

I'm considering another t4. After riding many eucs and size, I feel the t4 is the goldilocks fir me in terms of weight and ergonomic. I'm 4k miles deep and it's a breeze now. It's the easiest to ride one leg so learning will actually be easier for you if you can mount/unmount with ease. You'll never fall if you don't go faster than you can ride one footed. I'll make a video if you're interested on how that looks but basically if you can mount and off mount with foot gracefully, it doesn't matter if you ride 1ft or 100ft, if you keep the speed low, you can always step off.

My commutes are so short now, it's the only way to make it fun

I've encountered many police officers on the streets and on campus with no issues. It's the perception of responsible riding as this city is full of veo rentals and personal pevs and very little helmet usage. I never ride fast near pedestrians and often know my routes ahead of time. I also take my time and loiter if there's a busy intersection or area that'll clear in a few seconds. I even rode full gear through campus but very slowly and even step off and walk w the pedestrians but that's rare. We have a huge problem here with people riding through stop signs and too close to pedestrians. There's so many different areas in my town so it varies depending on where you're at. Look up your local laws as well as they're always changing
