Penn and Teller Fool Us - Dennis Watkins
"Tibetan masters on sleds going down in fire." I don't care if that's code for anything or not, that's hilarious. I love those two.
That’s amazing
The trick was baffling but more important was the beautiful professional smartly dressed manner throughout!
Freaking Penn can talk a goat to sleep
What a beautiful performance! Thank you!
I was with Allison in this one, I also missed the code words the first time around. Really smooth by Penn.
hehe nice
I really enjoyed this. Thanks so much for sharing.
Spin the wine glass, double sided cards and a deck swap
When Teller gave him the cards, I can see the last card was the 5 of diamonds and it remains the last card through the trick. Was he lucky or did he gave them a bunch of 5's to mix ? Also the 4 of clubs was the only card on the whole deck of clubs that was not gimmicked.
WOW!!!!
God he's awful. Same old switch and bait. You'd think only top level magicians would be allowed on the show, he should never have been allowed on that stage. Waste of time.
Jeez what did he do
Its double sided cards. When he put cup down on table he spun the glass around so we would see the backs of the cards.. That's why he only showed one side of cards whole time.
🙏 𝓅𝓇o𝓂o𝓈𝓂
I thought it was outstanding and have no clue how you pulled it off. Well done, Sir!
He used 2 sided cards to pull it off... Thats why he didn't show both sides of the cards
wooo.. 240p quality when i set 720p...........
its all okay but if you are hiding something under the cloth is the not a magic
code word at the end was two-faced when he said "but in this case, we're not two-faced" implying that the cards were two faced
the touch with the 4 of clubs being reversed is lovely... was in the 4th position from the end which goes along nicely with the idea that the glass was rotated. the 4 of clubs is the only card that isn't two faced :D
That's wild
he lost me.
I don’t understand why magicians come onto the show and use obvious forces. If you’re going to have a choice in your routine, make it a free choice or don’t bother asking someone to “choose.”
When he said sympathetic and 2 faced were the codes guys the name of the trick is sympathetic card trick beautiful performance though
Well. Unless Dennis has a third arm and hand, I'm clueless as to how he did it 🤔😶😕
"2-faced"
I think the double sided card is clear, and that means the 4 was set cause the 4 was always the 4th card. But how you force the card, I'm not sure
So procedural is the magic word? Hahahaha get out of here Penn
You trembled when taking up the back-turned 4C, but you were smooth! Either I wasn’t looking when you did what you did, or you’re that smooth. Fooler or not, you’re entertaining with your craft!
Is it just me, or is he soooo much like Jack Lemmon?
I love this! I have no idea how you did it!
two faced cards. But seriously folks, the most beautiful part of this trick....was Arianna. 😉
double facers and a switch of duplicate cards
They had no sympathy whatsoever!
How is an audience member microphoned? Setup!
That trick started very very early.
I have no idea what he means by them, but I feel like the key words were law and order and the thing about Tibetan masters on sleds. The latter seemed a bit too specifically random.
As they say in Tibet, noop and nuh uh.
Fantastic trick :)
what I love about this format, and how its done is even if the contestant's don't fool them, the consolation is always, ALWAYS, sincere praise and a little inside joke and shop talk with a pair of legends in the field. When every other reality show is about aggrandizing failure, and not measuring up, to see such magnificence on display every episode, and even when someone doesn't quite win a trophy, its heartening to see they walk away with pride, with dignity, and with an appreciation from the crowd, and the hosts.
: Fabulous act, very enjoyable.
Excuse you, you don't need to be that good, you broke the laws of physics
At the moment he said ‘marker’ he stashed the marked card.
He should have used some one else to do those things. Then maybe he could have fooled them🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Why did he ask either penn or teller to shuffle the cards he could've have asked either Alyson or the volunteer to shuffle them instead
Because he needed to walk back to the stage
If a putz like me can work out exactly how this was done, why did he think he'd fool P&T with it??
The fact that Penn & Teller have allowed the individual performers to post their performances on the show on their own personal YT channel is brilliant. It allows the show to reach a larger audience without any extra effort by the show's producers. Those companies that so jealously guard their copyright of intellectual property would learn a valuable lesson from their example.
It's not copyright if you're on it yourself. Well it could be, for example if actor plays in a movie or tv series, then they might have to sign an agreement that all the footage and rights belong to a company, but I highly doubt this thing exists in many shows. So if you're on it, then it's not copyright to yourself. And other companies don't learn anything, it has nothing to do with jealousy, it's about profits ... people like you, who have NOTHING, do not understand this. So try to imagine this - you have your own TV show and then someone rips all the episodes and uploads them on youtube and makes money from it, would you be ok with this? I sure wouldn't be ok with someone using my creations to make money off it. However I do agree that shows that are not uploaded to youtube by the copyright holder, should be uploaded by someone else. It's their own mistake for not uploading themselves, because they could make a lot more money off it. Personally I don't even know where Fool Us originally airs. youtube is only place i've ever seen it on. They should have official channel for Fool Us, i'd like to watch full episodes.
This comment is written on nearly every video from the show.
@@SethiozProject You are wrong, literally every piece of commercially produced media has clauses which state that the copyright is entirely owned by the channel/network that produced them, this show is a very special edge case.
@@winkmurder I know, it's really weird.
@@SethiozProject throw away your law degree bro
Easy
niiice
Penn has gotten so good at this "talking in code" that he could literally confess to a murder in code and the police still wouldn't know if he actually did it or not
😆😆 true
Yup
I still don't know what he was actually saying
@@lyledavis819 he was “sympathetic” to the trick is a reference to the name of the trick “sympathetic cards” and “two faced” in reference to double faced cards used in the effect.
Its double side cards.
I heard the code but I still have no idea...great performance!
When he turns around to go back to the stage from pen and teller, he changes the cards, you can see it clearly too actually... And the girl choosing a card saying "stop" is just bullshit :)
Check out 03:07 - 03:10
"we are not two-face"... ;-) (hint: glasses can be rotated)
Very nice. Could use a turntable and a more subtle swap, but great act.
the code was "two-faced", right? ("we were not too faced.")
That is the most gorgeous trick I've seen.
