I found this video last night and had never seen it, although I did not watch a lot of WCAT when we lived in Winthrop Beach from 2001 to 2013. Loved seeing the old photos of the place that became our new hometown! Moved back to New Orleans a couple of years ago after we sold our house in Lynn, but I have so many fond memories of that dear little town at the beach. Thank you for posting (now if I could only find the old videos of "Eye On Winthrop" with Dick Bangs and Carole Dimmeo!).

Millions of views for a Taylor Swift music video but few want to hear this profound and painful history where the lives and minds of thousands of hopeful young men and women were shattered in service to the US war machine, and millions of Iraqis died from US military actions and sanctions.

It takes a lot more courage to tell the truth than it does to put on a uniform.

I saw Rebecca Paris at Steamers in Fullerton in late 90’s and she became my favorite Jazz Singer ever since! I re-listen her ballads often, her musicality and phrasing are just killing me…Miss her so much, her unbelievable talent left such an amazing impression on this Planet.

So,...it is completely unfair to simply compare salaries across communities without looking at contract language and the demands of said agreements. Size, demographics and other issues confound that comparison. I like that they're. talking about a capital improvement plan. It will be interesting to see where they plan on getting the cash.
