Those additional detection points are on Pyramid Mouintain. Check each detection point coordinates and kelvin temperatres and go to Google earth. All of these points are where there is no vegetation. The Brightness ( temp ) is indicative of heat detections below the surface. These aquisition times were 0200 am. There were no winds at that time. The slow winds were from any current fires.

Little update, town emergency staff is staying in jasper to protect the town. Other emergency personnel will move east to Hinton. There are showers in the area, the rain is supposed to be heavy, starting at 9pm in jasper and lasting until evening Thursday. High risk of flooding in some areas. The emergency personnel info came from the town website, the rest from the weather network and me having windows.

Mountain pine beetles play an important role in the forest ecosystem, they infest and kill old trees, making them more vulnerable to fire, and creating conditions conducive to new growth.

Do you have anything to say to or about the people who think the fires are all set intentionally by the government; that directed energy weapons from space are lighting the fires; that there is some political conspiracy the goal of which is furthered by wildfire; and to the people who do not understand the physics of dry lightening? Anyway, keep it coming; I want ongoing info and updates. Thank you.

Ya, it’s funny ALL THE WILDFIRES in the last 3 years,,, THE BIGGEST WATER BOMBER in the world is $2,000,000.00 and HOW MANY has the Canadian government bought??? O would think if you stacked 50 of them together doing bombing runs at the start of a “new fire” there would be no out of control fires anymore….. Then let’s get to the federal government letting all the out of control fires go,, we’ll let see about ALL THAT CARBON and the carbon tax issue??? They can let 1,000’s of hectares burn throwing ALL that carbon into the air from free but we ALL have to pay carbon tax on EVERY LITRE OF GAS… Play the ELON BUTTON for the federal government please, “ GO FUCK YOURSELVES…”
