The only thing I disagree with on the video is the part of the plan where you suggest who could cover you... thats your boss's role and job. Your boss has to appoint your coverage. Also, its not fair to bum your work load off onto other people. Really, your boss should be finding temporary coverage.

Love this! Time is gonna come and go - the effective use of our most precious gift is crucial. A gift is given to be used - and used in a way that works for us. LA Rams great Rosey Grier told me when I was 12 years old to move at my own pace and love God with all my heart - when I have applied what he told my little 12 year old self, I’ve thrived. When I hurry, things go off the rails. As Pitbull would say, we’re lookin’ for a Slow and FA Sho! I love that! Take. Your. Time! Nicoa, you are so awesome! Can’t wait for the 19th! 🙌❤🏆❤🙌

Hi! Great question. Assuming you have explored their “why” behind their chronic behavior and have done what you deem necessary to support them, or accomodate them… the question becomes how willing are you to hold them accountable for their behavior? Are there rules and expectations that are documented and clear? What’s the consequence of not coming into work on time? Is it about their time or is it about their results? Ask yourself / your company / what matters most here and how willing are we to hold our employees to it?

HR is not there to help employees. Frankly, they are there to support management and keep costs down. Employee well being is on the bottom of their list if it is even on their list at all. Employees beware.

  • @bobrisky292

Saying that “did you just say that because I am a woman” and getting offended by it means you have a problem with being a woman. You are a woman. PERIOD. It doesn’t mean you are weak. You are of a softer nature than a man and it’s rational and appropriate to treat you differently. Men and women are different. The best way a feminist can advocate for women’s rights is to focus on telling people about the importance of women in society and try to make people value women more. Trying to make men look bad isn’t an ethical means to make women look good. It’s like telling customers that your competitors products are bad so that your own products sell more. Instead, the business owner should focus on telling people why their product will work for them. Period. Saying someone has the balls to do something is much more of an approval than saying someone is a pus*y. Why? Because we attach more value and importance to men. If only we educated people on the intrinsic values of being a woman, that would not be the case.

Well said! I think those of us who grew up with abuse or have had an abusive partner have this conflict with ourselves to an extreme. That’s an excellent example where it can be the extreme for sure and cause a lot of damage. Good for you beginning to observe yourself and work on remembering your wholeness! It is reversible and that’s important for everyone to know - it is subjective so we can shift and change our perceptions of all of it, especially ourselves. You are enough! You do deserve to be your authentic self without hesitation… and the right people will come to you and be attracted to you in your authentic world as a result. Congratulations again on the nuptials! Humbly, it takes a strong woman to not lose her identity by taking her husband's name or vice/versa. I find this to be a quite personal decision which the woman and man has the right to come together to decide on what "suits" them as a family and/or individually. Can't wait to see the "Life by Design, NICOA Show" !

So, would YOU choose your partner’s name after marriage? What do YOU think?
