My worst experience was on Etihad airlines flying from the US to AUH before COVID. The flight was delayed by 2 hours and the flight attendants were rude and just yelled at everyone. The only bad experience I had was with KLM Dutch airline. I was flying from Birmingham to AMS Schiphol airport the flight was okay, and the Flight attendants were average, just the check-in staff were extremely rude and sarcastic, and also was the gate staff. I won't be flying those airlines anymore.

Try Ethiopian Airlines. I booked a flight from Bangkok to Durban, via Addis Ababa in May for an October flight. I was constantly bombarded with offers to upgrade my seat from Addis to Durban. The day of my departure, 1.5 hours before leaving home, I was informed that the Addis to Durban flight was cancelled and I had been given a ticket from Addis to Jo'burg. No ticket from Jo'burg to Durban. The phone numbers for the Bangkok office did not exist. The desk at Bangkok was unlisted. I purchased my own ticket. I found oput that the flight was not cancelled, THE ROUTE had been discontinued in August but they had been trying to sell me upgrades for 2.5 months for a route that did not exist. . They didnt get me return tickets until I got to Durban on the return leg. They refused any compensation and refused to answer my emails or give me a higher authority to complain to. NEVER FLY ETHIOPIAN. PS the airport at Addis is a medieval shithole. The toilets re a portakabin in the main hall. You 1cm deep in urine on the floor and half the urinals leak.

The most shit place to be for new years eve. Everything is closed. Can’t even find a proper restaurant on the last day of the year. No firework or activaties. The people are not warm or happy to see tourist. What a waste of time money and hope to end the year beautiful
