Jon Delgado has been around the music scene since 2005, when he started as an open-format DJ. At the young age of 17, he started playing in the best clubs in Puerto Rico but it wasn’t until 2008 when he found his passion for House music. Intrigued by the harmonization of deep bass, Afro-American percussion and Hispanic vocals and inspired by producers like Mendo, Ramon Tapia, Sergio Fernandez, Danny Serrano, Carlo Lio, Hectour Couto and many others, Jon gained his place in the underground house music scene executing tech-house & deep house grooves that bring great hype to the dance floor.
As one of the youngest Dj’s he soon developed many residencies in PR’s top spots, played in the best clubs, festivals and events on the island, and shared decks with the best local and international talents, opening for producers like, Dj Tennis, Danny Daze, Soul Clap, Blond:ish, Amirali, Subb-Ann, Damian Lazarus, Laura Jones, Josh Wink and many others.
This set is part of the get together sessions prior to the big Blood Sweat Drum and Base and House show on Nov 2, 2024 from 9pm at Tabú nightclub in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where Diesel Boy and Down Link will perform among other local talents. Produced by QVLQV "Raulito" in a collaboration with Radio Underground Puerto Rico that will document the event under the direction of Ozzie Forbes.
