Our mission is to empower people to build better lives for themselves and their communities through work in the trades.
Quanta Rodeo Ambassador: Rhen Richard
You can’t call yourself a team roper and think you’ll get anywhere alone.
As a team roper, when Rhen Richard enters the arena, he’s not chasing his own glory.
There’s a job to be done, and his partner is depending on him to do it. If either of them
slip up, they both lose the steer. When they succeed, they win together. The bond of a
team is a bond of trust that overcomes failures and magnifies victories. We spend our
lives at Quanta doing the things that others can’t or won’t so that people across North
America can live in a modern world. It’s far from easy, but we do it for our families,
communities, and each other.
Quanta’s rodeo ambassadors embody what we hold dear and know to be true: our
success is built with hard work, outstanding character, and an enduring commitment to
each other.

Quanta’s rodeo ambassadors embody what we hold dear and know to be true: our success is built with hard work, outstanding character, and an enduring commitment to each other. When the gate opens and the steer takes off, Jeremy has a job to do. It’s over in seconds, and he makes it look easy. What you don’t see are the years of effort, the days of pain, the bruises, the scars…the work. The same ...

“Being great is hard. It requires a crazy amount of time, and energy, and focus, and practice, and sacrifice. I’d ask myself, why am I doing all of this. Is it worth it? But I set my goals a long time ago. And I love an opportunity to grit my teeth.” Easy doesn’t factor in for champions. Success means doing things the right way, dedicating ourselves to the details, and striving for better every...

Hey, can you give your counsel person, Scott Ayler, some more work to do? He spends way too much time playing games with local adult service providers. People are tired of his BS. Thanks! :)
Nice video Jeremy, I just meet you yesterday in Ponoka. We spoke a little,( Mexican guy) I hope to see you soon

I bought stock of PWR in April of 2021 when shares were $93 now it's $266 a share as of May 16,2024 ,oh crap😮
I've just applied thru your program. This is a great podcast and a massive opportunity for veterans. I will be sharing this with fellow veterans. I hope you all can expand on this program so that more and more service members and veterans can have a shot at a rewarding career. I look forward to being a lineman!
Great message. Success requires dedication and committed work.
I did 10 years in the Navy as a carpenter and wanting to get into the lineman trade. Are there more hurdles to overcome as a female in this field?
I wish I remembered her username but I came across a womane lineman on tik tok that did a short Q&A on this. It basically came down to her working smarter instead of relying on brute force like most of the young apprentices do. I’ve came across a couple of them on tik tok, wouldn’t be a bad place to look.
Not anymore than men do. Class A CDL is your golden ticket. Working on getting mine now. Best of luck to you 👍
Nice meeting you brother.
I was not an EM in the Navy, I was an MM working in the boiler rooms, engine rooms, and other areas as an A-Ganger. I would have loved to know this trade was a real possibility thirty years ago. I have been telling young guys for years to look to the "Trades" if they want a steady professional career.
Im applying for veep right now 6 year us army vet here
Thank god someone finally said power is V*I. Lol
Hi I have a year left in the navy and I think lineman is what I want to get into when I get out. I am going to apply for a lineman skill bridge in North Carolina as soon as August 1st hits. Do you think it would be better to do lineman skill bridge or a skill bridge that will give me my CDL? What are some steps I can take to make this become a reality instead of a dream
Quanta Services, build and maintains the world 👍
Madison!!! Dude! What a small world! That’s my brother from 1/5
Being a lineman is not for everyone, now a days being a lineman is like being an engineer, one wrong move and your going to meet Jesus in person or being disabled for the rest of your life.... Underground switchs, cables and transformers are very serious business.... Not only that poison gas can be an issue in some underground vault too...its takes many years of training to become full service lineman... Now when you get into substation work that whole different story....
The lineman field is predominantly white, would you say it’s a racist field? If (that’s a big if) blacks do get hired they get paid less.
Stop pulling the race card, everybody in the IBEW gets paid the same. And it's mostly Mexicans in California.
@@QuadropheniacTed shut the hell up
@Planet Star Found the guy that wasted his GI Bill on a liberal arts degree.
@@QuadropheniacTed Found the guy that has two first names as a full name. “Stop pulling the race card” only a privileged pink man would make a comment soo ignorant & biased to shade the fact that you people reap the benefits of over 400 yrs of slavery and oppression, till this very day. The sun is your enemy remember that.
@Planet Star Now you're trying to bait a racist comment. You must have been a joy to work with.
Do you like getting treated like complete shit even after the military? Do line work. Are you white? Don't apply in California. Want to not have proper equipment? Work for a contractor that Quanta owns. Do you enjoy working with journeymen that are drugged out on Adderall or cocaine? Do you enjoy never being at home and making money that you'll never have time to spend? Your crew isn't family if you're a contractor because it's a revolving door of people that hate the area they're working in. Been there, done that. Fuck that.
This is a great video. Thanks guys
Wonderful! 👍🏾 Keep up the good work. 😊
I’m not sure if you guys have implemented this into SFL tap but I never knew about this while I was transitioning into civilian life. A lot of guys would love to do it, they just don’t know anything about it or never hear of it.
I'm glad I was able to find this since I'm about to start SFL tap
I got out during COVID-19 so there was no sfl-tap 🤡 feeling lost

I’ll be 42 when I retire from active duty. Will my age be a limitation for me as an apprentice? Assuming I am in good health…
Hunter, I am 42 now and currently attending this program. If you are in shape you will be fine. More importantly then strength is flexibility and endurance.
Take your retirement and VA check and enjoy your life. Imagine being 35 and enlisting, same this as starting fresh doing line work at age 42.
36 when I started. Army vet . 56 y.o. now still climbing ( kinda lol) . Most strength is mental .
@@coast1249 I will be attending this course this upcoming spring, I have some questions. Do you have instagram or somewhere I can message you ??
