This is probably the cheapest and simplest mailbox post design out there. Neglecting the diagonal support from a traditional design gives a modern appearance with a cleaner look.
Kids Train Table Build

How to build a kids train table with step-by-step instructions. Note: In this video I used pre-finished Birch plywood. I don't recommend painting any pre-finished surface, because the paint doesn't adhere quite as well as regular wood.

Easy Workbench Build - 1 Hour Using Scrap Wood
I think you can make it yourself, just loook and learn from woodprix .
“Dad, can we play legos?” - chuckles softly - “you get to build your mother a coffee table, son”
There’s a decent chance this goes viral!
It is certainly on track to do so with 4 total views from friends and family!
Very helpful for the next time I put these in!
Get a scroll blade for the jigsaw you can cut shaper turns
That is actually what I was using, not sure if you can tell in the video. Thanks for the comment!
Hi mate , what was the width between posts in order to fit your olympic bar ? Making one myself and want to get the measurements correct so I don't make the pullup bar too long
quick question, when using a saw like this to say cut counter tops / kitchen worktops, should the finish side of the worktop be on top or should it be on the underside when cutting??
Underside
Underside is best, that way the blade cuts into the material from that direction. If there ends up being any splintering of the edges it will be on the top side. If you want to prevent splintering on both sides, put down some painter's tape before you cut.
Thanks for making this!
Thanks for the guidance! I followed your plans and avoided the gotchas mentioned. I built mine with unfinished birch plywood and coated it with white semi gloss paint with a few layers of water-based poly. Ended up using green felt for the top with extreme mounting tape and it's been a hit!
That's great, I'm glad you could learn from a few of my mistakes. The green felt is a great idea, and glad it turned out well!
Buenos diseños me puede dar las medidas de Vzla Gracias
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Perfect
Thanks so much
what thickness plywood 1/2" or 3/4"?
I recommend 3/4 inch to make the table as sturdy as possible. I can stand on it and it doesn’t bend.
great job - thanks for the inspiration for me to build one for my Grandson for Christmas - did you use 3/4" plywood?
Yes, 3/4 inch plywood!
what is the height of the table at the top of the rails?
@@beechconsulting The top edges are 18 inches off the ground. Also, the top surface is 2 inches below the top of the rails. Good luck with your project, and let me know how it turns out!
Yo what song is this? Lol
My boss tune, isn't
Just curious how you got the state traced onto the plywood? Large template or something else. Anyway it looks great!
I found an outline of the shape of NC online. Then I printed it out onto multiple pages using the "poster" print setting, taped it all together, and cut it out. Then just traced it onto the plywood. Thanks for the comment!
@@jqman5740super cool
Well, I might just try this myself. Thnx.
Thanks for the great video! If you have a minute to answer a question, what plywood did you use? Your plywood looked glossy/smooth in the video and most of the plywood I find at my local Home Depot requires sanding, which is easy to burn through that top layer.
Hi Jeff, I used prefinished Birch, and I regret that choice. I would recommend an unfinished plywood like Maple, Redwood, etc. When the surface is glossy smooth, the paint doesn't adhere very well and chips off easily. You shouldn't have to sand the plywood veneer before paint unless the wood finish is lower quality (like sandeply from Home Depot). Good luck!
Those bugs!!! Ew! Nice job with designing the replacement :)
Awesome
can you share your measurements plan ?
@Shadrack Raymond ı dont need shoulder measurements width
I went to the gym with a tape measure and measured the heights that were most comfortable for me to squat and bench, as well as the height of the safety bars which would allow the bar to rest barely above my chest. I don’t have the exact measurements anymore, but it doesn’t need to be precise besides those numbers that are specific to you. I am 6’1” in case that helps.
@@jqman5740 I would love to see a guy walking around the gym taking measurements
@@jqman5740What kind of wood did you use?
