You can buy a 50 inch better quality high refresh rate smart tv for less than 400 bucks. I can't see the reason to get one of these, unless you like a company to make a crap ton of money off you from adds at the cost of your ISP service.

I signed up around this past thanksgiving so it'll be a while before i get mine but heres my issue. We get power outages a lot where i live quite frequently because of hurricanes and thunderstorms and such. We were out of power for two weeks at one point after the last hurricane. I wonder if they will consider that a violation. What if your internet goes down and they dont get it fixed for a few days? We live in the country. Im talking backwoods Alabama country. They dont get in a hurry to come fix stuff around here. Surely they wont consider these uncontrollable occourances violations and charge me. There should be some eay to call and touch bases with them in case of a problem thats out of your control. Cool video too. You did very well for your first one. Looking forward to seeing more.

Personally i signed up for the sole reason of when Telly goes under as so many tech companies do im just going to hack it and have a free tv... Or you know some sort of privacy lawsuit

Just signed up for mine. Pretty pumped to be going from a tcl 4k 55 to a telly. I have no issues with ads they are everywhere anyway. Plus, these things are going to be hacked eventually;) just like thr iPhone there will be some sort of "jailbreak" somebody always finds a workaround

In the TOS of this Telly TV they have you agree to linking your credit card and adding a $1000 fee. This isn’t definitely not “free”. Sucks nobody can read and also sucks these companies never learn or change.

Do you have to sign in to some kind of account with the TellyTV brand or just connect it to internet? You really should have shown the setup process.

Hey can you check if you have chrominance overshoot on this tv by using a test clip called "wonder woman how to dance" on youtube. At the 25 second mark look at her face as she sways to the left, do you notice a white trail? If you test it can you do so using filmmaker mode at 50 brightness? Edit: i read your description and i see that you no longer own the tv. Id still appreciate if i can get a reply from any 48 inch b4 owners who comes across thelis post.

I signed up for Telly tv reservation a year ago and received an email yesterday to complete the order. However, I decided not to proceed. Upon reviewing the terms and conditions, I believe it’s not worth the headache, even though they claim it’s “free.” The TV itself will never be yours to own even after one or more years when the ads payoff the TV

I’m curious if there is a minimum viewing requirement to meet in order to keep the tv. They will need people to watch in order to justify the free tv. This would be really nice for a business that needs or wants TVs and has them for free. I’m curious if Telly has a business plan. Seems like it’s tailor made for high volume use.

One thing i Don't like is the terms of service stating that it needs to always being connected to the internet, also how long can you have it off before they say to turn it on?

Took me 2 years to get mine. I went to the Columbus giveaway event too and yeah, it don't fit in a Kia Rio. Shipped it and it was broken, screen was smashed. They sent a replacement and I got it today. Pretty cool TV!

Me and a friend had a screw that didn't fully go in. The leg was still on tightly but did you have that too?
