It's time to judge these companies, you buy a new refrigerator and after a year it breaks. The old one has been working for 50 years without breaking down. They do this on purpose so that people will buy new ones for everyone. .
Does anybody know do you need a water line for this particular brand for the icemaker or can you just put water in the icemaker to make ice because I want to buy a two dollar federator but I don’t have no way to connect a waterline
From a July 16, 2022 Lowes review: "Freezer makes very little ice, told this is normal. Very difficult to find water filter. Water from ice maker fill tube drips on to fan causing ice build up and loud noise, this happens quite frequently." I submit ice buildup is striking fan blades making a terrible grinding sound or more likely bad bearings in motor. Should replace fan under warranty.

I agree! My new fridge is loud, ice maker dispenser already broke, door bins breaking... f'en China made junk! Same with my brand new Electrolux washing machine and dryer... 108 min to get clothes clean and dryer only dries on time setting. I'm so disgusted in the quality.
I have the same one and mine did this too. Appliance guy came out twice; I spent $400 only for the refrigerator to be now freezing my food. I’m about to throw the whole thing out!
I just found out the wall between fridge and freezer has a hole that is going all the way through, just noticed that shelf of food on the fridge side is all frozen.
We had this same problem. You have to take the back off of the inside of freezer and remove ice off of fan. My partner is an hvac technician so he’s handy and figured it out himself pretty quick.
Here is a tip. I had to clear a bit of ice from my fan, and I could not find a socket that fit the little screws on the lower panel, so I used a bit screw driver. This is a screwdriver that takes little Philips and flat head bits. Dont use a bit. The hex size of the screwdriver without a bit should fit those little screws. I hope you are as successful as I was. Take care.

Don't buy any fridge with too modern features, they aren't reliable. Like ice maker, screens...

Same! 18 months after fridge installed. We just had the fan replaced.

Frigidaire service person stated moisture was getting inside freezer. Installed missing part on ice dispenser to resolve issue....

Mines doing the same thing right now. Had it for 2 months and all a sudden barely makes ice, may dump ice once a day and thats it
Mine 2yrs old. Same issue. Cleared ice out & worked fine for 1 month, now high temp error. Freezer not cooling at all.

so its the evaporator fan? this started happening to mine and had it for just 1 month
my fridge is 6 months old (brand new)b acts like there is nothing wrong… no ice
