Hello everyone! My name is Nana and I am from "the Land of Fire" Azerbaijan!
I always wanted to show the beauties of my country and the lifestyle of Azeri people to the foreigners around the world, so I opened a UA-cam channel primarily for this purpose.
I am planning to create a diverse content, mixing fun and knowledge in my vlogs. From time to time, I will publish vlogs from other countries I've visited as well.
I hope you will find something for your taste on this channel and explore my wonderful Azerbaijan together with me:)
Take care!

Hi there! I am happily sharing with you my favorite video on this channel so far!
I didn't imagine I could meet up with my English friend, Katie, so soon, but she loved her first visit a lot, and getting an invitation to her friends' wedding turned into a great chance for her to come back to Azerbaijan and for us: to meet in person just a year after our online acquaintance.
In this video, we are exploring the Palace of the Shirvanshahs together and talking about what she loves about Azerbaijan, her first Azerbaijani wedding experience and a lot more.
Hope you will enjoy this discussion vlog! Have a nice watching😊

In London people don't drink tea. Maybe just sometimes in restaurants or cafes. But usually they are using tea bags
@@i.h.9011 aa, I see. Thanks for the insight!
The most important, that Baku is cleaner than London
@@i.h.9011 I guess, here the difference in the scales of the cities and the population size is the reason
@@ExplorewithNana I quess that it's not about size, but about huge amount of people with different culture and backgrounds.
13:23 Of course - London 5 times bigger than Baku
@@i.h.9011 hi, what do you mean exactly?
англичанка странно ходит. шагает очень твердо. а вы ходите плавно как лебедь.
Nana, what you do is useful and interesting. However, every time you pronounce Azerbaijan, you make a typical Azerbaijani mistake. You pronounce the word AzERbaijan, when it should be pronounced as AzerbaiJAN. Practically the same as in the Azerbaijani language. Thank you.
@@illuminator8712 hello:) Of course, I know about the correct pronunciation of my country, but this wrong stress was imposed on me and tens of thousands of Azerbaijani students at schools and universities, so after hearing this wrong stress for 15 years of my life, it's very hard to totally abandon this habit. I am doing my best tho:)
Hello Nana ! I will be visiting Baku next week ( 24th Sept 2024 ) and found your video interesting and informative. I hope I have the opportunity to see your video about suggestions for restaurants before I arrive.... I am very interested to see what the food is like. Thank you!
Hi!! Thank you so much for your kind words😇 I am currently working on this video, but I don't think I will have published it by the 24th:( But I highly recommend visiting "Laquzu" for breakfast and dinner, all their dishes are incredibly delicious! Plus, it is located in the Old City. You can see this restaurant in my last video: there, I have shown some food and its cozy inner yard. And the price-quality ratio is very reasonable for such a location. Have a great time in Baku💫
today I had "business lunch" at an eatery in Fexraddin Musayev , one spaghetti dish topped with some meat , another dish of meat mixed with vegetables , one glass of rose drink , no salad , no bread , the bill was 17 manat ! it was 5 manat when I first came here in 2017 ! Cheap my ass...will have to downsize my meals to buy bread and cheese in supermarket
@@gaudente1900 inflation sucks:( that's why it's always the best to cook at home, prices for fruits and veggies in Baku are very low. I will have a separate video about our best restaurants where I will show prices too, quality and price ratio is very reasonable in the places that I will share in that video🙏
bus/metro fare now is 50 qupik , that is 0.29 USD , not 0.25
@@gaudente1900 the prices for bus and metro rose after I had published this video. I noted in the title of the video that the prices I mentioned were in April of 2024:)
