i mean the orginal version is one of my fav songs of all times. this is a pretty good performance. but it even comes close to the original version. Regardless Matthew is one of the greatest and most underrated songwriters in last 3 decades.

So in theory you don't need the XLR in the back of the di box, you can use the di box just to clean up the signal? Put your guitar in and then have it send to your amp? Completely bypassing the house or pa board/mixer? Do you have to use a mixer? Or can you use the di just to clean up the sound for your PA monitoring speaker.

This was the most simple and concise video on how to us a DI box I could find. After sorting through several videos of people rambling on about... what a DI is, is it worth it? what sounds better? Should you buy it? Bla bla bla. I needed to know how to use a DI and this video showed me exactly that. Thank you for your clarity and for not trying too hard to sound so damn smart. Appreciate this info.

I agree with several of the other comments, you made it very easy to understand. I sometimes tend to overthink things which always makes me a little frantic so it's videos like this that make my life a bit easier. I was questioning specific topics which you answered all.. Since I'm using 5 instruments, now I fully know that I should invest in a DI box that can handle them all for their amp/cabs AND to my mixer. I'm looking at the Behringer Ultra Pro D1800 right now. Good job on this video brother 👍💯
