When my oculus does this and my game freezes I usually just turn the headset off and back on and if my controllers don’t show up I just hold the power button so it turns off easier if that helps

Whenever the ball hits something.. whether deflected or a hit, it will come to rest in some position close to that event. Noting the position of the ball, move your body away from the ball to draw it taunt, and then pull it suddenly in the opposite direction... as soon as the ball begins moving rapidly in its new direction, start slow rotations to get it going. To get into the fighting stance where you are holding the chain, time grabbing the chain by calculating position using rotational speed and holding your hand at the height appropriate by anticipation. start spinning the ball more rapidly in this way for best results.

For some reason this seems vital to share, at 3:55 I do a minor adjustment to the whips positioning. Apparently if you do a forward rotating circle with the hand holding the weapon, without footwork, the result is that the ball ends up on that side in the same starting position as if you had just drawn it from its hip holster. If you are making combos from this position it is a good trick to bring the ball close to your heel to start a new combo.

Its perfectly expectable to use the weapon as a mace defensively and offensively, when the fight makes you need to jump back use a haymaker motion to whip the thing around and get it going again.

gravity/heavens cast on the star on nomad makes the whip easy to rotate.

I also noticed that if you are properly dragging your ball on a taunt chain behind you, you can do the classic Castlevania attack. to do this do a forward jump while quickly striking from behind you to the front, a good follow up is to footwork right back front while twirling to go into a standard long distance rotation.

Several times during the video, I holster the weapon, this is very useful, you can work on drawing it with the right and movement and footwork to get it going, also its often needed to correct the weapon getting stuck or being in a position you are not sure of. Build your combos starting from the draw weapon position is my best advice.. Also if the enemy deflects the ball, its best to reverse the direction of rotation accordingly.

The chain noise you here seems to be a way to tell the position of the ball at the end of the chain. by moving in the opposite direction and twirling the chain around you can start it going around and around.

I am right handed, but I draw from the left hip left handed.. The reason for this is because the most practical way to handle this weapon is in a shortened mode holding the chain with the right hand.. While doing this tap the spell use button with the left hand for fire, this seems to make the weapon go slightly faster/damage more.. If the weapon ever seems to bind you can sharply pull it back to disarm or throw your enemy to the ground while tangled.

You can catch the chain easy while using long rotations, this increases the reps per minute of the weapon. (yes I struggled here in the vid) When jumping whip holster will be higher than usual.

Watch the footwork, the Morning Star is always a combination of movement and rotation in some direction. Use slow 3-4 second rotations of the hand with appropriate footwork for long distance.

Sword makes me not touch the ground when shethed.

I think that to get this achievement you just have to not get hit for 60 seconds in this particular round. Don't shoot them or accidentally kill them with deflection and you get the achievement..

Your damage seems to be huge. How are you killing those shelled drones with single red laser for several seconds? It takes me ages to destroy them this way Also, great aim and reaction. Underrated video

2 batons/light saber would be bad ass.. when even i open my Q2 i always spent a good time in this games, i just wish they could have added few more game modes for multi player without having to require a large play space
