per request, I'm finally doing a tour of my grow space, hold your horses, this is a very long 3 part series, I got a lot more orchids in the past 7-8 months and changed my set up quite a bit. This is filmed in mid-January, but not edited until now, I procrastinated sorry =) Current orchid count: 81 (as of 02/11/2017)

I don't know why, but I wanted to film a simple video with no voiceovers. Just repotting, no talking. The orchids featured are from my recent Ecuagenera orchid orders, the repotting session was complete over the timespan of two nights. Enjoy the ambient sounds.

Finally bite the bullet and got my first orchid order from ecuagenera. I picked the option for them to ship the order to my address in the US when they arrived at the Tamiami Orchid Expo in Florida, US, this helps me to save the high costs of CITES certificate and international shipping from Ecuador. The plants arrived in pretty decent conditions.

Lysudamuloa Red Jewel got damaged during transport. Half of the leaf is unable to get a normal flow of nutrient because of the broken leaf structure. After watching some animated knee reconstruction video,I had the crazy idea of using hot glue to replace the snapped leaf structure...and it works!! not the most aesthetic pleasing thing, but the best method I had so far. I admit I procrastinated on my orchid vblog, but I'm back now, more orchid update goodies to come because I have really expanded my orchid collection in the past 3 months, I also killed two, but it's overall a fun story. Here's a super late January update of my tiny tiny western window grow space in the laundry room (humidity yay!) Stay tuned for more :)

Some orchid repotting drama...in case you are confused, centipedes ( corrected: *millipedes) do not damage orchids, if you have them living among your orchid collection, and you are fine with creepy critters, it's not necessary to wipe them out, I'm just a looser that is terrified of bugs.
