Like with many things there's a beauty in simplicity. Things don't gotta be complicated to be worth their weight in gold. And it takes someone with skill, experience, and vision to make those kinds of art pieces. Few times in my life have I heard a beat that has this much flow with no words. Thas how it's supposed to be. Now I just gotta see who has written to this song cuz this beat sounds like a magnet for lyrical fiends xD Imma have to learn to beatbox this pattern cuz hot damn other beatboxers would lose their damn minds hearin this beat in a beatbox battle lol

Damn this beat is amazing. The whistle/flute and vocal sample are so unique and interesting when combined with the melody. It's a solid beat without those but damn, with it the beat is damn near iconic. It sounds kinda lofi, kinda trap, but also kinda indie and soul in a way. I love beats that are such a comprehensive culmination of good music that they have their own unique and unnamable feel. There's something about that combination along with the chords that easily gets me in my feelings (like Swish Reezy said), and it only does it more the more I listen. It feels familiar somehow. The flute kinda reminds me of games I'd play as a kid so I supposed that plays a role, and good vocal samples always hit different with a nice melody. I wanna write a song to this but it'd have to be something good enough to do the beat justice. Imma have to come back to this beat when I'm really inspired and see what comes of it.
