Site Building With ECK and Bricks

With Drupal 8 there are a number of approaches to component based page layouts - Entity References, Paragraphs, and Panels to name three. In this talk we'll take a detailed walk-through of using the Bricks module to build pages composed of re-usable, nested components. We'll cover the basics of setting up a Bricks based site but also look at some best practices, using Bricks for highly custom page designs, and using Bricks along with a framework like Bootstrap or Zurb Foundation to provide more generic but very flexible solution.
While this talk isn't a comparison between different approaches we will see how the Bricks approach differs from other approaches like Paragraphs and Panels.

Thanks! I just saw this for a D9 site, and still, it was a practical guide to me. A good quickstart.
Great Concert. Still relevaant in 2022. I think entity API is a great tool to build a decoupled CMS Microservice. Thanks for uploading this on UA-cam. Sadly I find very less content on Drupal on UA-cam and Internet and the audience is also very thin. Probably because of the larning curve you showed in the starting slides. 😉

Working on trying Group out now only because OG and OG Menu in D8 are not great. However to answer your point about OG not having a hierarchy, it in fact has a really good one. Used it on many school district websites to build a multi site setup. Using a parent district organic group/site, school sub groups, and even teacher groups/sites with all able to feed their content up to the parent group seamlessly
firstly I'm no expert in Drupal, but in 24:43, isn't that causing n+1 ? isn't it better to load all the nids rather than load each nid ?

Great work related to the above context i'll like to ask that if it is compulsory to have paid ad manager acount for getting a preview of your image/content in your creative after following these steps? because i am performing all the steps properly but not getting preview at last ? 2. Also i am getting 404 error while preview of creative. 3. Plus after this when i am settling up DFP and DRUPAL in my local, i am getting only <div> of but content is not getting displayed. 4.
