Awesome video. Thank you. What size is the rear castle nut? What size of socket do you need? 27mm?

When you pop out the rear brake pin and can't find it on the floor or in the belly pan, look in the plastic air tube. That there is experience talking....

First hike? In comments you say you wore them twice... In video you say "these ones held up good" - cant tell if you're trying to bash irish setters or brag how hard you hike in boots 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for the very helpful video. Bought a used griz and am a bit new to it. Got the brakes done with confidence. Watching the vid made it very easy. I will be doing the bearings this winter so I've already watched that one. Any other maintenance vids you put on for griz I will watch. Helps to know exactly what tools a guy needs before starting. Thanx again.

Just bought a 2000 Grizz 600 and the caliper is squeaking but after watching this I think I’ll change the brake pads too since they are weak. Easy to follow, your a good teacher! Thank you!!

Do those allen bolts that go through the pads need any brake lube? Mine were a bit corroded and sticky. Also the pad hooks over another rod on one end and that looked a bit sticky too.

So the "sealed" bearings from Yamaha need no seal on the inner side right? Kind of freaked out today changing my bearings looking for any seals inside the kit I bought lol.

I'm looking at a 2006 grizzly this weekend. Can you tell me what I should look for ands the weak spots to look at for. Thanks

Front drive shaft splines. The splined shaft is short and the splines tend to wear out. I had a rear axle pop out, they are only held in by a spring pin. You can pull it all apart and bolt the two inner axles together.

well i was going to get these but now im not. i recently got the under armour valsetz and while they are the most comfortable boot i have ever worn the reviews were terrible and now i know why. 2 months old and they are complete garbage. so from now on im going to rely on the reviews.

Always check your boots for grease....if they aren't clean...they've cracked

Ralph Wann Try your local hardware store, I know you can get epoxy for putting protective caps on the toes work boots that stuff is pretty durable and should hold it tight.

great instructions, I have a 2006 Yamaha 660 grizzly and am wondering if you are going to do more on that machine, I am interested in gravity flushing front and rear brakes/rebuilding front & rear master cylinders and anything else that pertains to that model machine
