I get anything up to around 40 Goldfinches in the garden sometimes and have several large feeders around the garden for them. I will be doing a few more of these videos and try to add some of the other feeders.

During a visit to New York we decided to visit Central Park. With very little research I did not know what to expect in the wildlife area so I was satisfied with just photographing points of interest. On our way round we saw a Red Tailed Hawk flying over, my son said it was in a tree further down so I went down and got my first ever shots of a Red Tailed Hawk. while clicking away like a mad man...

Due to only half the last Yarn Pot video uploading, here is the updated version for you to watch. The Cherry Yarn Bowl finished in Hampshire Sheen Food & Toy Safe Gloss Wax. I drilled indents into the wood and added brass powder with CA glue then polished. The base pattern is finished with gold and copper gilt cream. A Yew dried flower or stick vase finished in Hampshire Sheen Gloss Wax. The vase was a great project and was put back in the lathe about a month after turning as a few cracks appeared, after filling with CA and brass powder it just made it stand out even more. 13" tall and 5" wide at the widest point.
