Does the touring seat set you back further than stock at all? I'm 6'2 and while i like the idea of being lower in the bike, i worry that my knees will be up in my chest when resting my feet on the forward floorboards with the touring seat.

Air hawk are a bad design , the valve should be at the back out of the way .. on the side it digs you in the left thigh badly :P

I gave almost 1k for my air hawk seat the material started cracking after 6000 miles and wouldnt do one thing to help me out. I'll never buy one of there seats again. And yes the drivers seat leaks off after 100 mile ride.

Stupid question I guess. I have a fitted sheepskin cover on my Harley. Really no reason why this couldn't just be installed between the seat and the cover is there?

My seat only has 1800 miles on it and the leather on the front side is cracking It started cracking around 900 miles and nothen they will do about it. Great seat but bad customer support......

My air bladder is leaking. I emailed and got no response. Do you repair the air bladder?

I just bought the dual sport version for my Husqvarna 701. Anything will be an improvement over the stock 2X4” seat.

I had the worst seat in motorcycling for long rides with my 2008 Yamaha FJR1300 and the air hawk improved the comfort by about 50%, so worth the small investment. ... but I sold the bike and bought a beemer K1300GT and the stock good seat is even better with the airhawk

OK, just got my Airhawk pad, and here's what happens....I open the nozzle, fill it with air, and then the second I stop filling it with air to close the nozzle, all the air leaks out. Who invented this, communists? What's needed is some sort of thumbwheel that can be turned on the inlet valve to close it while you still have your mouth on the valve. Whoever invented this is is a dumbass.

My friend has prostate problems from an accident I'm trying to find a seat to relieve pressure on it. Do you have any seats that would help?

Not that you read the comments... Love the seat itself, but after talking with a rep on FB to find figure out the part numbers for my seat (which didn't work BTW)... I can say that this backrest system is BY FAR the worst I've ever seen. I honestly can't believe you guys charge $180 for the bracket and $230 for the backrest... And it's this big of a pile of shit. You can tell in the video how loosely the stem fits into the socket... It's even worse in person, when a demonstrator isn't trying to hide how it flops all over the place. I'll never buy another Danny Gray product again, just because of it.

Just bought the TourIST for my 19' Road Glide. Has the flap for rider backrest... But there isn't a bracket inside, as far as I can tell. Can you tell me what part numbers I'll need and link me a video to install the bracket?

What is the actual seat height for the rider. I cannot find that info anywhere and that is an absolute prerequisite in determining if this would be the seat for me

I recently bought for my R1200GS and haven't noticed any difference, but then, knowing me, I've probably got it set up wrong. I didn't know about crossing underneath the seat or the quarter-inch off the sadly. How do you know if you're at a quarter-inch when you're sitting on it? Sorry to ask a stupid question. My back to bracket and seat attachment just don't line up no matter how much pressure I put down on it I can't get bolt to grab hold

The Touring version looks great. Would have been nice to see the remove-ability of the back rests and what it looks like with them removed. How the backrest ports get covered, etc.

Can the air in the seat be adjusted while riding?

I just bought an Air Hawk Cruiser, medium, with the polyurethane bladder. It's a good looking pad! My CTX 1300 Honda has a pretty good seat already but I thought this couldn't hurt from both a comfort and an accessory standpoint. I have read that on the poly bladders, the valve has a frequent tendency to separate from the bladder, based on Amazon reviews. Anyway, in your instructions, it indicates to insert the hook in one of the rear loops, and wrap it under the seat to the "opposite" loop, which I interpret to mean the opposite "rear" loop. It goes on to say to do the same thing on the front. It then says you should wind up with an X pattern underneath the seat. But if you follow the instructions, you will wind up with parallel straps (if you interpret the instructions as I initially did), not an X. So it is a little confusing, and I'd suggest to your product managers that this be clarified in the instructions. Also, in item 3 of the instructions, the word "of" is spelled "pf". So that should be corrected also. Otherwise, nice product, and I am anxious to try it out.

I don’t understand why these seat information/review artists don’t show us the depth of cushioning. All ya have to do is zoom in with the camera and press down on the seat with your palm. What’s so difficult about that! Sheesh!

How do you remove the seat

By not answering the questions I take it the seat does not have the heated feature. Now way I would buy it.

Is the seat heater just plug and play with the stock connectors or do you have to modify the them
