Personally, my dog's named Samson for a reason-he's always had a great coat and I never was inclined to shave it. I've scissor cut his coat, ears, and feet his whole life. It takes us about 20 minutes. And clearly, I make no claims to be a professional dog groomer. Just an owner who's done this for about 8 years now.
