It’s that time of year again! Those big fish are starting to bite top water. This week the choppo was by far the most effective bait. Cloudy overcast conditions are usually the best for Topwater, but the natural looking shad color when it’s sunny out has been very effective

That black plopper is the loon … I use it and the bone on the buffalo river here in middle Tennessee and the smallies tear them up. I had the best day fishing all year myself the other day using the whopper plopper. Caught a 17.5 inch. 19 inch and 20.5 inch smallie, and a 10 inch rock bass on the loon. It was worth the trip even though I caught a bunch of other small fish, if I had just caught those 4 I would have been happy.

Get it bo, seen you on my side of the creek this morning. Or thought it was you in that kayak. You like the whopper, try the 1/4 buzz bait in that same color. Booya makes a good one with the black blade. We got about 7 good ones today. Tight lines dude, keep it up

Psshhh...every fish that I lose is at least 8 pounds lol. 🤫😂. As a random dude in new england who just found your channel I think you have some good potential in being able to turn these vids into money and free fishing lures to review. At the beginning of the video I think it would be a good idea to explain your hook setup, weight? and explain what technique your using. Casting into the shaded sides? Letting it hit bottom before the retrieve? Teach the people and they will come! Im your newest subscriber. Good luck brother.
